今年美國暑期的「亞裔」大片《瘋狂亞洲富豪》昨日首映後已經陸續開出影評了，目前似
乎都是正面評價居多，雖然爛番茄上的評論總數只有 16 條，但是卻有 100 % 的好評，而
且其中最主要的幾家大媒體如 THR、Variety 或 IndieWire（評分為 B+）都給了正面評價
。
（以下截錄爛番茄短評，容我就不逐一翻譯了）
THR：「A thoroughly captivating exploration of the rarefied question of whether
true love can conquer head-spinning wealth.」
IndieWire：「A loving take on Kwan's books, bundled up in a wildly entertaining
package.」
Variety：「A movie that expertly manages to balance the opulence of incalculabl
e wealth with the pragmatic, well-grounded sensibility embodied by its heroine,
Rachel Chu (Constance Wu).」
Entertainment Weekly：「If Asians really only grazes true Crazy, the movie is s
till a deliriously glossy, globe-trotting trifle -- two hours of romantic fanta
sy and real-estate porn poured on so thick it's almost lickable.」
Los Angeles Times：「This adaptation of Kevin Kwan's 2013 international bestsel
ler is many things:a tour de force of lifestyle pornography, a slick, enjoyable
divertissement, a surprisingly trenchant study of class and cultural differenc
e.」
雖然這部以新加坡最為背景的電影先前受到不少真正的新加坡人的質疑，電影當中大多也
都不是新加坡裔的亞裔演員，不過目前看來美國影評方面的評價都滿正向的，但究竟到底
是不是滿足了西方人眼中的亞洲印象所以獲得好評，還得等亞洲這邊正式上映才能一探究
竟。
《瘋狂亞洲富豪》由《出神入化2》的亞裔導演朱浩偉執導，改編自同名暢銷小說。
