finishing表示還沒組完 應該是正在收尾了

: Ross: (clutching a beer can and sniffing) This was Carol's favorite beer.
: She always drank it out of the can, I should have known.
: (抓著一個啤酒罐輕蔑的說) 這是卡蘿最愛的啤酒
: 她總是會直接用罐子喝，我早該發現的。
sniff可以當猛吸 或擤鼻涕
邊這麼做邊說話被當成是一種輕蔑的態度
跟中文的「嗤之以鼻」意思滿接近的

: Joey: Ross, let me ask you a question.
: She got the furniture, the stereo, the good TV- what did you get?
: 羅斯，問你一個問題
: 她拿走家具、音響、好電視，那你留了什麼？
: Ross: You guys.
: 你們啊
: Chandler: Oh, God.
: 喔，天啊
: Joey: You got screwed.
: 你被榨乾了
screw是螺絲的意思 當動詞用時就是轉的動作
另外也引申成很多意思 像鼓舞 壓榨 搞砸
(我之前倒是沒想到有正面的意思 不過想想也有道理)

: Monica: My brother's going through that right now, he's such a mess.
: How did you get through it?
: 我哥哥現在也遇到一樣的問題，他整個人糟透了
: 你是怎麼熬過來的？
: Paul: Well, you might try accidentally breaking something valuable of hers,
: say her-
: 呃，你可以試試不小心弄壞她某個很貴重的東西，像是...
: Monica: -leg?
: 腿？
我在想前面的talk about your.. 是不是就跟這裡的say her...一樣
就是「舉例來說」的意思？

: Monica: You actually broke her watch? Wow!
: The worst thing I ever did was,
: I-I shredded my boyfriend's favorite bath towel.
: 你真的弄壞她的錶？ 哇！
: 我做過最糟糕的事，不過就是洗壞我前男友最愛的浴巾
shred是「切成條狀」的意思 shredder就是能執行這動作的東西「碎紙機」
想了想洗壞要洗成一條一條的似乎不太容易
她應該是用剪的或撕的吧（或丟進碎紙機？)
: Paul: Ooh, steer clear of you.
: 唔，不能惹毛你
steer是掌舵的意思 steer clear of sth. 就是把船避開一些障礙物
引申為避開某事物以策安全
因為Monica會毀了男友的浴巾，所以Paul開玩笑說要避開她

: [場景:莫妮卡的公寓，瑞秋邊踱步邊講電話]
我眼殘看錯了 pace是踱步的意思（我看成pale)
