《公主的男人》以朝鮮朝的“癸酉靖難”為題材，講述首陽大君的女兒
“世玲”和金宗瑞的兒子“金承琉”之間的一段悲傷的愛情故事。
“癸酉靖難”是指，1453年首陽大君（後來成為朝鮮朝第七代王“世祖”）
為篡奪王位，殺死左議政金宗瑞等第六代王“端宗”親信的事件。端宗為
首陽大君的侄子。
朴施厚劇中飾演的金承琉是一位聰明伶俐、才貌兼備的貴公子。文彩元將
飾演的世玲是身世顯赫的大小姐，好奇心強，自己想做的事情必須做到才
能心滿意足。
