Aaron Sorkin買下著作《The Politican》電影版權 - 歐美

美國民主黨前總統參選人John Edwards的前助理Andrew Young出書爆料，
Edwards在結縭三十年的髮妻Elizabeth對抗癌症病魔時，
和自己競選總部幹事Rielle Hunter發生婚外情並產下一女。

這本名為"The Politician: An Insider's Account of John Edward's Pursuit of the
Presidency and the Scandal That Brought Him Down" 的書籍，
日前翻拍電影的版權已被知名影集The West Wing製作人Aaron Sorkin買下，
搬上大螢幕之期指日可待。

這個消息傳開後，
網路上也掀起一波選角的猜測，
如華盛頓郵報建議男主角應該由笑容同樣燦爛的Tom Cruise來飾演、
也有人認為應該選擇外型搶眼的年輕面孔，
例如電影Twilight男女主角Robert Pattinson和Kristen Stewart扮演John與Rielle...
