由電影「駭客任務」為基幹發展而來的「駭客任務動畫版」(Animatrix)，網羅一
眾時下最頂尖的電音音樂單位炮製出這張原聲帶。

一開場奧地利組合Kruder & Dorfmeister二分之一Peter Kruder所化身的Peace
Orchestra便送上一曲太空化Downtempo樂章"Who Am I？"，當中意境的迷離延續
到Nu-Breaks體系領導核心Adam Freeland以Free*land名義帶來的深遂Breakbeat
House新曲"Big Wednesday"，隨後接上去年風光回歸的倫敦二人組Layo & Bushwacka!
那首優雅弛放的爵士化曲目"Blind Tiger"，串連得完美無暇。

此外，原聲帶中還收錄Death In Vegas 2002年入主各大雜誌年度最佳單曲名單的
Elektroclash/Krautrock合體經典"Hands Around In Vegas"，以及Junkie XL 於
2002年底/2003年初轟動舞池的Progressive House國歌"Beauty Never Fades"以
媲美Hybrid的Progressive Breaks版本全新面世令人驚艷。而同樣是Breakbeat取
向，Meat Baet Manifesto的"Martinot Waves"踏著Big Beat節拍與渾厚Bassline
而來，Drum'n'Bass/Deep House好手Photek意外送上一曲工業味十足、展現中慢板
Chemical Beat風範的新作"Ren2"，Overseer的"Supermoves"祭出與當年The
Propellerheads分停抗禮的"Rollin'"搖滾化Chemical Beat/Big Beat攻勢，最為
絕對懾人的則是圈中名將Tech Itch取用電影對白與兇殘Amen Breaks節拍共冶一爐
的剛猛Darkcore之作"The Real"。
