Country superstar Carrie Underwood unveils her new wax figure at Madame
Tussauds in New York City on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old former American Idol delivered a special treat yesterday to
help usher in the coming Christmas season. Carrie released a holiday edition
of her current album, Carnival Ride, which is available exclusively at
Wal-Mart. The holiday version is a two-disc package featuring the Carnival
Ride album along with a second disc containing five Christmas favorites, four
of which are previously unreleased.
Among the seasonal classics are “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” “The First
Noel,” “What Child Is This,” and “O Holy Night” – all newly recorded
for this collection – in addition to Carrie’s rendition of “Do You Hear
What I Hear,” featured on last year’s multi-artist compilation, Hear
Something Country Christmas.
