以同故事改編的音樂劇最近開始最初的讀本
參與的包括現在在《偷心大少 Dirty Rotten Scoundrels》演出的Sara Gettelfinger

導演Jack O'Brien(Dirty Rotten Scoundrels/Hairspray/The Full Monty)
曾提過此劇首演可能在San Diego的Old Globe劇院 要視他所擁有的這劇院能不能集到
夠多的資金

同樣由他執導的《偷心大少 Dirty Rotten Scoundrels》《脫線舞男
The Full Monty》等劇最初也是由Old Globe製作首演，移師百老匯後都有漂亮的成績
在San Diego同樣也是創票房紀錄

Old Globe在1987年曾經製作Sondheim的《拜訪森林 Into the Woods》而後於1988移
師百老匯

除了在Old Globe外，Jack O'Brien也在紐約進行第二個workshop
