Executive producer Brian Peterson tells me he’s “very optimistic”
the actress — who’s in the thick of contract talks as we speak —
will be bringing Chloe back next fall for the show’s 10th season.
Asked whether it’s essentially a done deal (which is what I’m
hearing), Peterson says, “We’ve learned the hard way not to say
[it's official] until everything is signed and dotted. So the best
we can say is we’re really optimistic. And so is Allison.”
