Someone will die in the CSI: New York season finale, according to executive
producer Peter Lenkov.

The final episode of New York's fifth season will find the CSI team "on the
trail of a team of sophisticated kidnappers-turned-cop killers," Lenkov told
Ausiello. "Their crime will forever change the CSI: NY lineup." That change
comes in the form of a character death. "We lose a member of our family [in
the season finale] -- and that's just in the first 10 minutes," Lenkov
revealed. The finale will also mark the final appearance of Craig T Nelson as
Robert Dunbrook, the publishing mogul introduced in "The Party's Over".
