主角加地因醫術高超被譽為「腹腔鏡的魔術師」，但其實是一位視錢如命的外科醫生。他
這次被轉派到位於茨城縣大洗的「帝都醫科大學附屬醫院大洗第8分院」，由於被吹捧為
是來自東京的超級醫生而暗自竊喜。就在此時，有議員的女兒因盲腸炎住院；加地之前在
路邊救助的貧窮老人也同時入院，且檢查結果是難以治療的重病。眼前同時出現「有錢且
手術簡單的患者」與「貧窮且手術困難的患者」，讓加地傾向優先處理代議士女兒的手術
。喜歡成群結黨、愛好金錢、具備優秀腹腔鏡技術且為人八面玲瓏，以此為武器闖蕩江湖
的加地，作為一位「醫生」究竟會如何抉擇呢！
