Duchovny back on TV at Showtime

Mulder plays single father in new comedy.

David Duchovny is returning to series television in a comedy for Showtime.

The premium cable network has ordered 12 episodes of the untitled project,
which centers on a writer (Duchovny) who juggles a 16-year-old daughter, an
ex-wife whom he still cares for, and an insatiable appetite for beautiful
women.

It is understood that Showtime plans to launch the series in August, paired
with the critically praised comedy series Weeds. Duchovny is best known for
his role as Agent Fox Mulder in Fox's The X-Files.
