infamous romance with Raffaello Follieri, a handsome Italian businessman who
was convicted October on 14 counts of wire fraud, money laundering, and
conspiracy.

On Gossip Girl, Blake Lively's Serena will play the unsuspecting ingenue who
falls for a handsome European socialite - in this case a hunk named Giorgio.

No word on if Giorgio is the same character as Gabriel, only renamed, or if
they are different characters entirely. We'd guess the former, as the
character description below is awfully similar to the way Gabriel has been
portrayed in previous reports.

Gossip Girl executive producer Stephanie Savage reveals this about Serena's
beau:
