He has a blood clot.


Denny is still alive. The 4 interns do their best to keep him going.

Denny wants to marry Izzie

Bailey walks in on them.

The Chief's niece comes in. Her ovarian cancer has returned. She's gonna die.

The Chief finds out that his wife knew all along about his affair with Ellis.
It turns out that Ellis left the Chief and his wife picked up the pieces and
helped him with his alcoholism. But the Chief never knew that his wife knew
the truth.

Derek is nervous to operate on Burke. They have to wait to operate on Burke
b/c of the clot.
