: Following circulating rumors last night, Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has
: confirmed via Twitter that Hans Zimmer will be composing the score for Call
: of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This is his first work on a video game, but he’s
: well-known as a prolific composer for Hollywood films. His resume includes
: over 100 movies going back 25 years in the industry, and he won an Oscar for
: his work composing The Lion King.
: Other notable contributions from Zimmer include Thelma and Louise, Gladiator,
: and both of the recent Batman films. Alongside Modern Warfare 2, he’s also
: currently working on Sherlock Holmes and Inception. Apparently he doesn’t
: sleep.
