The ''American Idol'' runner-up joins Anna Faris in an as-yet untitled comedy
produced by Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions

Count Katherine McPhee among the myriad pop stars who are hoping for a film
career, too: The American Idol runner up will co-star with Anna Faris (Scary
Movie) in an untitled comedy, which Adam Sandler's Happy Madison will
produce. The movie stars Faris as a Playboy bunny who gets evicted from the
House of Hef and then stumbles into the job of den mother to the lamest
sorority on a nearby college campus. McPhee, who described herself as ''funny
and silly'' in her American Idol profile, will play one of those sorority
girls. Sony is reportedly aiming for a late summer start date.

Entertainment Weekly reports that everyone's least favorite Idol runner up
Katharine McPhee will star in an Adam Sandler produced comedy with Anna Faris
(Scary Movie). Faris stars as an exiled Playboy bunny who seeks refuge in a
sorority house, and Katharine plays an unintelligent sorority girl. I thought
the report said she was acting? Well at least when she has scripted lines to
say, the stuff that comes out of her mouth won't be nearly as obnoxious.
