New NCIS star Lauren Holly wants her boss to lighten up

Former Picket Fences star Lauren Holly is getting a big kick
out of playing Mark Harmon's new boss-- and ex-lover-- on the
CBS hit NCIS.

"When I want to embarrass Mark, all I have to do is look at
him and say, 'You're so handsome and sexy,'" Lauren tells
Inside TV. "He just turn bright red and can't deal with it.
He's just like, 'Golly,' you know, and walks away. It's very
cute. He's a very humble man, and what you see is what you get.
It doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes!"

Lauren tells us that her charcter, tough yet feminine Jenny
Shepard, will have quite an impact on super-serious Special
Agent Leroy Gibbs (Mark).

"Gibbs all of a sudden is smiling a lot," she says. "And Gibbs
doesn't do that a lot, so it's really fun."
