飾演 Star Trek 中的 Spock 而著名的演員 Leonard Nimoy
於 2 月 27 日週五早上過世
死因為慢性阻塞性肺病
(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
享壽 83 歲

Leonard Nimoy 高中畢業後
在 18 歲時移居加州追求演藝事業
於 1964 年在 "The Lieutenant" 中的演出
受到該劇製作人 Gene Roddenberry 的注意
得到了 Gene Roddenberry 新劇 Star Trek 中的外星人角色

Star Trek 第1季
Leonard Nimoy 每集的酬勞為 $1,250 美元

Star Trek 播出了 3 季後被取消
之後的重播大受歡迎
因此好萊塢在 1979 年推出了電影 Star Trek: The Motion Picture
由 Star Trek 影集的原演員演出
票房的成功導致了之後的續集電影
Leonard Nimoy 也得到了機會
導演了 1984 年的 "The Search for Spock"
和 1986 年的 "The Voyage Home"

演 Kirk 的演員 William Shatner
曾經因 Leonard Nimoy 收到的影迷信件比他多
而感到失望
不過現在 Leonard Nimoy 和 Star Trek 其他演員保持良好的關係
William Shatner 和 George Takei 都表達了哀悼

William Shatner :
