當我接到電話邀小說稿時，手邊新案已經開動，可我幾乎沒有0.1秒的遲疑就立刻答應了
因為我終於知道那個遺憾可以藉著重新翻寫「光陰」的小說而彌補——
我要和「光陰」裡的每一個角色、情節，好好的話別。
於是，從第一集孫媽摔到田裡開始，我試著做自己的觀眾，再次舊地重遊。
雖然，礙於篇幅，劇中很多情節在小說版裡被刪減了，但，請別懊惱，在小說版裡，
我也把那些因為經費、時間的不允許，未能著墨、卻在我心裡儲存良久的部分，化為文字：
基摳的失蹤、中橫遊、一美基摳的婚禮、蜜月、孫伯伯的返鄉、馮媽的故事……
以及，小說版中，關於復邦和茜茜的「後來」，才是我心裡最最理想的結局。
