first of all, I don't think Brian had the same feelin about Justin,
just as Michael and Lindz do.

the answer is crystally clear,
Brian loves micky and lindz as a friends,family at least.
but, he never , never cross the line between "friend"
(close friend,maybe)
even he always knew mic loves him so bad.

it's just like the way you treat your friend and lover
or someone you like.
you definately wouldn't treat them in the same way,would you?

Brian was Justin's first,though,
I trully believe that he had already fallen in love with Justin,
at least the end episode of first series.
Or he wouldn't show off in Justin's prom,right?
and the way he took care of Justin?

whoops,I wouldn't say that Brian didn't give a shit about Justin at all.

as for what Brian think about "love".
take a look about the way he acts before he proposes to Justin
and how much different he makes in life after that.
perhaps you will understand Brian's inside much more.

think this over,
he's never really had a complete family life,
how the hell dose he suppose to do "love and family" thing?
not mention about: imitating straight couple' life.
