Reuters, saying that the Peacock plans to announce the surprise renewal on
July 16 at the TCA press tour.
Though there is no official word from NBC, one person familiar with the
negotiations said The Apprentice would be renewed for two more years, while
another insider said the plan is to bring the show back for a seventh season
with an option to renew it for an eighth.
