從Friends的版得知 Will_n_Grace這部影集&這個版
(ptt還真是什麼版都有內lol，真是個好用的工具)
爬了一下版友們的文還蠻有一看的興趣
無奈台灣買不到，兼之本人又對下載等其他取得方式怕怕
只好先來去看個劇本探個啾竟+一窺虛實
目前進度雖只有第一季第一集
不過看完也感覺不錯看，對白很犀利、很幽默
尤其那個 doo-doo真是戳中我笑點
因為聽到 due diligence 這詞兒我的第一反應跟 Harlin 一樣:
「就算你說得再慢聽起來還是像doo-doo阿」
而 Will 解釋這法律用詞的回答也超妙又有效率:
「就是一些你的律師我會幫你處理到好的 crap 就對了」
Wahahahhahhhahh笑死我了啦
SCENE IV: Will's Office
(WILL is having a meeting with his client, HARLIN.)
HARLIN:
You're my lawyer. You tell me.
What have I got to do to buy this company?
WILL:
Well, first you've got to get something called
a Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust clearance and then
we can negotiate standstills and lockups.
Naturally, that's after we do due diligence.
HARLIN:
What the hell is doo-doo diligence?
WILL:
No, Harlin, after we do due diligence.
HARLIN:
Doesn't matter how slow you say it, Will. It's
still doo-doo, isn't it? I just want to know
what it means.
WILL:
It's just crap that lawyers deal with.
Harlin, I'll handle it. I've been representing
your corporation for 5 years now, remember?
HARLIN:
I know, but my wife's been bugging me about the
business lately. She wants me to be a little
more hands-on.
WILL:
You sure she's talking about the business?
HARLIN:
[LAUGHS] Yeah, she's talking about the business.
But I trust you, Will, so you do that doodoo...
That you do so well. [HARLIN EXITS]
