Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace

Yoda: Afraid to lose her, I think, mum? (Her=Anakin's mom)
你怕會失去她嗎？
Anakin: What has that got to do with anything?
這有什麼關係？
Yoda: Everything... Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger.
Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. I sense much fear in you.
一切都有關係。恐懼會引入黑暗之途。恐懼令人憤怒。憤怒產生仇恨。
仇恨帶來苦難。你心中充滿恐懼。

Qui-Gon: He is the chosen one. You must see it.
相信我，他能實現預言。
Yoda: Clouded this boy's future is.
他的未來充滿烏雲。
Qui-Gon: I will train him then. I take Anakin as my padawan learner.
讓我來教他，我收安納金當徒弟。
Yoda: An apprentice you have, Qui-Gon. Impossible to take on a second.
你有一個徒弟，魁剛，不能再收第二個。

Yoda: Confer on you the level of Jedi knight the council does.
But agree with your taking this boy as your padawan learner I do not.
長老會同意讓你成為絕地武士。
至於讓你收這個小孩當徒弟，我不同意。
Obi-Wan: Qui-Gon believed in him.
魁剛師父對他有信心。
Yoda: The chosen one the boy may be.
Nevertheless, grave danger I fear in his training.
他也許能實現預言，但是他會帶來很大的危險。
Obi-Wan: Master Yoda, I gave Qui-Gon my word. I will train Anakin.
Without the approval of the council if I must.
尤達大師，我答應了魁剛師父。我會收安納金為徒。
就算沒有長老會的同意。
Yoda: Qui-Gon's defiance I sense in you. Need that you do not.
Agree with you the council does. Your apprentice Skywalker will be.
你跟魁剛一樣叛逆，這是不好的。我們答應你，讓你收天行者為徒。

Windu: There's no doubt the mysterious warrior was a Sith.
神秘武士毫無疑問是西斯。
Yoda: Always two there are. No more, no less. A master and an apprentice.
總是有兩個人，不多也不少，師父和徒弟。
Windu: But which was destroyed? The master or the apprentice?
但死掉的是哪個？師父還是徒弟？
