Edie Chaucer (Annie Paul飾)在父親死後繼承他的酒吧 the chanticleer，
並試著要讓酒吧的經營更“光明正大”。
Val (Rebeca Miller 飾)是個年輕的拉子，看心情穿著男裝或女裝亮相，
在Edie 雇用 Val 當吧台後，酒吧經營變得更加緊張，究竟 Edie能不能
抵抗腐敗的警察和窺探的目光，保持酒吧的“光明正大”？ 面對排山倒海
