《地獄》劇情問題？(有雷) - 電影

昨天去電影院看了《地獄》
不過有個地方有點看不明白，所以想來問問看版友們~
-----以下有雷
主角被黑人反派抓到，被帶去某個很多工具的地方準備殺掉主角，當時主角右眼呈現赤紅
而黑人兩眼都是赤紅的。我以為是主角感染瘟疫傳給黑人的，但是看到結局，主角染的病
只是受某種化學藥劑影響而已，他並沒有感染到瘟疫。
那為什麼那黑人的雙眼會赤紅??化學藥劑不會傳染吧??
一直在疑問這點 > <
