艾雷克斯溫特和基努李維仍然飾演同一個角色毫無疑問，
編劇跟導演也都是跟之前消息一樣，
由負責編寫前兩集劇本的克里斯麥瑟森（Chris Matheson）及艾德薩羅門（Ed Solomon）
編寫第三集的劇本，導演是迪恩佩瑞索（Dean Parisot）。


官方簡介如下：
Following 1989’s “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” and 1991’s “Bill &
Ted’s Bogus Journey,” the stakes are higher than ever for William “Bill”
S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Reeves). Yet to fulfill
their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a
new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song
can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the
way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music
legends.
