某天，「偶然」相遇的四名男女。
他們都還未實現過夢想、佇足在從未達過巔峰
就緩緩向下的人生下坡前。這樣的四人組成了
四重奏，開始了在輕井澤的共同生活。然而，
這段「偶然」的背後，卻隱藏著極大的秘密…
…。
卷真紀（松隆子）搭著別府司（松田龍平）的
車來到了輕井澤的別墅。等待著他們的人是世
吹雀（滿島光）和家森諭高（高橋一生）。在
東京的卡拉OK店相遇的四人都是演奏家，決定
組成弦樂四重奏。他們聊到了想在LIVE餐館做
演奏的事，不過那家店目前有一位「餘命九個
月」的鋼琴師班傑明瀧田（イッセー尾形）在
做固定演奏。於是，真紀突然說出了一個異想
天開的想法。
