Simon Cowell ‘to replace Dannii with guest stars’

This year's X Factor auditions will reportedly feature a series of special
guests in the place of pregnant judge Dannii Minogue.

Simon Cowell is hoping that the move will boost ratings for the ITV show,
according to the Daily Mirror.

Robbie Williams, Ronan Keating, Mel B and Charlotte Church have all been
linked to the new series, along with former American Idol judge Paula Abdul,
who has already guested on The X Factor.

A source told the paper: "The stars would attend all the auditions in one
city each. It would create an extra buzz and make the initial shows even
more exciting.

"Simon thought it worked well on American Idol, so it is something he is
willing to try."

Dannii Minogue's future on The X Factor is still unclear after she posted a
message on Twitter at the weekend denying that she was being axed from the
show.

It is thought that she may return for the live shows in the autumn following
the birth of her first child in the summer.
