我想這就是台灣將錯就錯的電影文化
戲院將錯就錯,片商糊里糊塗,觀眾老被誤導
他們本來就是先寫好劇本,去那邊找一個家庭演,然後希望拍到被拋棄的小駱駝
依照他們單方面的說法,裡面有運氣成分在裡面,尤其他們只拍了七週
(不過劇本早就寫好了,也就不用跟正統紀錄片作法一樣
必須取得被拍攝者的信任,長期「跟拍」,after all,他是把這些人當作演員)
但要像台灣的文字資訊,說這是「意外」,「不小心碰到」,就有點奇怪了
以下是導演自己的說法:
LUIGI FALORNI: It all started from the music ritual, which is performed
every now and then when a camel mother rejects her newborn, to convince
her to accept it again. That was the starting point of the whole project.
And that was also what got me interested in making the film.
We decided from the very beginning to go for a mixture of strictly
documentary observing on one hand, and also re-enacting on the other
hand. We developed a fairly detailed script and went looking for the
story that we had written, basically, in Munich, on a desk.
Q:Did you go looking for this sort of mother/colt problem? What would
you have done if it had not happened while you were there? What would
your movie have been about?
A:The musical ritual is being used in several cases. Off course we wanted
the mother-colt problem to happen. ............This was pure luck. When
you have a wish, the spirit will listen to you. Like my grandmother,
I am a person with a deep faith. I need that. (...)
Q:How many births did you film before finding the one that becomes the
focus of your film?
A:The initial plan was to start shooting at the beginning of April, but
during our researches we found out that the birth of camels already
starts in March. So we had to change all the plans and travel two weeks
earlier. (...)Already in the first night after we arrived, a birth occurred,
which we could film. It was a good practice and we had the first material
for the editing room. There was a second birth the same night. (...) When
the birth started. we were so tired that we didn't know if it was day or
night. We filmed the second birth, and a white colt was born. The mother
rejected it and this was our colt.
