裡面的彗星是9公里大小,
而且發現得早,其實問題不難處理。
簡單說,讓彗星降低一點點速度就好了。
稍微具體一點說,
地球直徑12742公里,
地球每秒鐘繞太陽移動約29.87公里。
也就是地球需要約427秒鐘就可以離開會被彗星撞擊的位置。
讓太空梭載運質量相當大的導彈上太空,
朝著彗星發射。
不求爆破彗星,只求降低彗星速度。
為求保險起見,可以多派幾艘。
雖說9公里大小的彗星質量絕對遠大於任何導彈,
但只要導彈能發揮一點點反作用力
(畢竟在太空中,導彈速度可以飛得很快,
即使質量不大,但作用力可以變大)
距離地球極遠的彗星稍微減速,
到達地球軌道時間要晚個427秒以上,
根本不是問題。
尤其電影裡的設定似乎是比現在科技更發達的時代,
好像沒理由需要那麼恐慌吧?
雖然這不是這部電影的訴求,
但這一點希望可以跟大家分享。
也許哪天真的遇到了,
我們這樣做就好了。
