)的事業失敗，舉家自大阪移居到滋賀縣的信樂。喜美子在當地知名的傳統陶藝文化「信
樂燒」圍繞下成長，15歲前往大阪工作3年後回到故鄉，開始對信樂燒產生濃厚興趣，全
心投入當時仍由男性主導的陶藝界。為尋覓出自己獨特風格的信樂燒，成為首屈一指的陶
藝家，即使家境貧困，幾經波瀾，但任何的大風大浪，都無法澆熄喜美子對陶藝的熱情
