繼前日逆襲候選學員12人大名單出爐後，東方衛視《中國夢之聲》節目組根據最新人氣榜宣布了這12人中有望重回舞臺的6位學員名單。郭帥、李立宇、林采欣（貝貝）、張捷、鄧小坤、陸敏雪成功突圍進入六人名單，而蘇丁琦、朱婧佳、
包文熙、許諾、汪睿、李明霖等學員則停止了他們的“夢之聲”腳步。
從12人到6人，這仍舊不是最終逆襲名單，據7月14日周日晚21點15分直播的《中國夢之聲》逆襲戰執行總導演嚴敏介紹，“在當晚直播開始後，我們將當場宣布六人逆襲候選學員中有哪四位學員最終站上逆襲戰的舞臺”。而為了給逆襲造勢，《中國夢之聲》將在12日至14日於上海五大商區舉辦主題為“三天三夜”逆襲狂歡的路演。
