本來找了特種部隊2的導演Jon Chu 不過他後來決定放棄
現在請了寫過神鬼奇航系列跟獨行俠的編劇Terry Rossio來編寫劇本
"Lone Ranger" Writer Hired for He-Man Movie "Masters of the Universe"
Jon Chu (GI Joe: Retaliation) was on board to direct the upcoming He-Man
movie "Masters of the Universe," but has decided to drop out. But now comes
word that Columbia Pictures is not giving up on the film.
According to THR, Terry Rosio, the writer of "The Lone Ranger" and "Pirates
of the Caribbean," has signed on to write a new script for "Masters of the
Universe," which is based on the popular 1980s Mattel toy line and at one
point was called "Grayskull."
Hiring Rosio means that Columbia wants to give the project a serious shot.
Whether such characters as He-Man, Skeletor and Man-at-Arms will look good on
the big screen has yet to be seen. But since the movie has been in the works
for a decade is a clue that the studio has been worried about the film's box
office potential.
