從TLJ可以看出Rian Johnson正在走出星戰過往榮光的羈絆
如同Luke丟掉光劍一樣
不遷就於血統以及真相，就只是平凡人的故事
雖然Luke的角色設定變了，當年的那個New Hope現在哀莫大於心死
當年塞滿整個競技場的Jedi武士團也不見了
令人驚訝的是在Return of Jedi 後伴隨的居然是Sith跟Jedi的共同滅絕
不過我對於打破星戰一直以來的Jedi v.s Sith的設定感到相當激賞
先前的Battlefront 2中的Luke也表達出相同的觀點

取而代之的是光明與黑暗，堅持與墮落
Rian Johnson並未背棄真正的星戰精神
雖然部份劇情邏輯被一些觀眾所詬病
的確很可惜，但也不用太過擔心星際大戰
