《環太平洋》導演 Guillermo del Toro 在近期釋出關於電影續集的相關消息，他表示《
環太平洋 2》將會於 2017 年 4 月 7 號上映，他所喜愛的角色都會出現在續集之中，像
是萊利、真子、紐頓博士和葛里布博士都將會出現在續集之中，甚至是從巨獸身體裡逃出
來的漢尼拔也可能會出現。

除了《環太平洋 2》的上映日期確認之外，Guillermo del Toro 也補充到在電影上
映之前會推出《環太平洋》系列的動畫影集，動畫將會根據漫畫《Pacific Rim: Tales
From Year Zero》的劇情來製作，將會為各位粉絲帶來更多的巨獸和機甲獵人的戰鬥場面
。
