"Burnin' Up" is the second highest new entry of 2008, runner-up to "American
Idol" victor David Cook, whose "The Time of My Life" bowed at No. 3 the week
of June 7. Only 12 songs have started their chart lives in the top five this
millennium; four of those debuted at No. 1 and all were by "American Idol"
singers: Clay Aiken, Fantasia, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Hicks. Nine of the
12 are "Idol"-related.
