Michael Bay Extends First-Look Deal at Paramount

Michael Bay has extended a first-look deal with Paramount for three additional
years, the studio said on Thursday. The agreement includes Platinum Dunes, Bay
's production company, and Bay Films.
「變形金剛」知名導演麥可貝，在美國時間週四與派拉蒙公司簽訂了一份為期三年的
再合作合約，這份合約的範圍不僅有麥可貝未來導演的電影，也包括他旗下自創製片
品牌「白金沙丘」影業。
"Over the years I have become part of the Paramount family," said the director
in a statement. "There is a synergy there that feels different than any other
place in Hollywood."
麥可貝在簽約儀式上表示：「經過了這幾年，我已經成為派拉蒙家族的一員了。這裡有
一股『互助效應』，讓我感受到派拉蒙與好萊塢其他公司的不同。」
Bay's fourth entry in the lucrative Transformers series, Age of Extinction,
recently became the highest-grossing movie in China's history, where it
crossed the $300 million mark over the weekend. The director's reboot of the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Paramount is set to open in U.S. theaters on
Aug. 8.
麥可貝親自執導最新一集變形金剛電影「絕跡重生」，不僅繼續保持吸金力，在中國大
陸甚至成為當地影史票房最高電影(其金額即將在本週末到達三億美金)。而他只當製片
，但同樣由派拉蒙發行的經典英雄重啟片「忍者龜：變種世代」，也即將在下週五正式
在美國上映。

inspired and beloved filmmakers of our time," said Paramount CEO and chairman
Brad Grey in the statement. "We take great pride in the fact that Michael is
part of the Paramount family and we look forward to growing our productive
and successful partnership."
