A favorite sci-fi movie is the one that starts with a small
ship being attacked by a larger ship which directly leads
to a rebellious young farmboy who lives with his stepparent
and dreams of outer space only to meet an old wise man who
knew his true father and asks him to join some crazy space
mission and visits a bar full of aliens. Then has to go on
a really big ship in order to save that partner he originally
hated but ends up becoming good friends with by the end. And
then they end up destroying the evil large ship that can
destroy planets. Then medals are given out in the end
in some great ceremony. You know...
