任職於三友銀行總行的片岡洋(福山雅治飾)，某天突然被晉升為蒲田分行的分行長。意料
外的升官讓他相當驚喜，但沒想到，片岡即將被派往的分行，竟面臨了即將廢行的危機！
常務董事橫山(三上博史飾)告誡片岡，廢行一事已經是板上釘釘，因此要片岡不用努力，
只要成功讓蒲田分行廢行就能回到總公司。但眼看分行下屬們不知即將被廢行裁員，仍在
努力工作的模樣，片岡掙扎了一番，還是決定站出來，要對抗這個蠻不講理的巨大組織，
翻轉全員裁撤的命運...。
