13.The producers loved Matthew Perry for the role of Chandler,
but he was already cast in another pilot L.A.X. 2194.
Once the producers discovered that the pilot was about
baggage handlers in the year 2020, they figured they could risk it.

製作人們本來就希望由馬修派瑞演錢德，但他當時已經被L.A.X. 2194
的劇組選上。等到劇組們發現該片講的是2020的機場行李員後，
發現他們可以冒險一試。

14.The character Ross was actually written for David Schwimmer

羅斯這個角色是為大衛史威莫量身訂做的。

15.For the pilot, central casting sent over the coffee house crowd.
The original crowd was pierced, tattooed, and goth.
The producers wanted a more mainstream look, so they recast the extras.

原本選角的人選來當咖啡園客人的都是一些穿洞、刺青和哥德派的人。
後來製作人們希望他們可以看起來更主流一點，只好又重新選角。

16.The role of Monica was originally based on Janeane Garofalo,
but after Courteney Cox auditioned they modified their vision

莫妮卡這角色本來是是根據Janeane Garofalo來寫的，
但寇特妮去試鏡後就被完全改寫了。

17.The original idea for the show was going to focus on
four characters with Phoebe and Chandler in supporting roles.

from both inside and outside the coffee shop.
But viewers have noticed that the logo is symmetrical
and suggest that it isn't unfeasible for the owners
to have placed a sign on the inside of the window
which completely covers the one on the outside,
making it readable from both sides

原本中央咖啡園的標誌是設計成裡外兩面都能讀，
但是有人覺得這樣做不合理，現實中沒有店主會這樣做。
