Q: What was your initial reaction to getting eliminated?

問：當妳得知自己被淘汰時，一開始是什麼反應？

Seymone: I was slightly devastated. I didn’t know it was going to happen. I
didn’t know if I would be able to continue on with my modeling career or
anything. I thought I was just done, in my eyes. During the competition it was
either win or nothing.

Seymone：我有點感到震驚，畢竟我並不知道自己會被淘汰。當時我不知道我是否能繼續我
的模特兒生涯或其他任何事情；在我眼裡，我感覺自己完了。在比賽期間，一切就像：不
是贏得比賽，就是輸掉一切。

Q: Have you since recovered?

問：那麼，妳從淘汰中恢復了嗎？

Seymone: Oh yeah. I’m not done at all, or anywhere near being done.

Seymone：嗯嗯。我的人生並沒有因此而完結，或接近完結。

Q: Do you think you were unfairly portrayed as being in bad mood all the time?

問：妳會認為自己被不公平地呈現成一個時時刻刻情緒都很糟的形象嗎？

Seymone: Obviously you’re going to get edited, so personally I feel like if
you put it out there for them to edit you like that, then that’s your own
fault. But to be honest, if you want to judge me off of a reality show, I look
at you [as] very juvenile. Because you can’t tell my personality because of
the fact that, everybody knows that it’s edited , and it’s like, “Oh that
person’s mean.” No, they really aren’t, you just don’t know them, you’re
just unaware of the situation, you’re unaware of their character. I really
don’t care, if they want to judge me like that, then they can judge me. If
they want to know me, they can get to know mne.

Seymone：很顯然地，參賽者在螢幕上是被剪輯過的，所以我個人是覺得妳有這些表現讓製
作單位把妳剪輯成這個形象，那這是妳自己的問題。不過，坦白說，如果有人要憑實境秀
的節目內容來評判我，我只會覺得他非常幼稚。因為你並不瞭解我的人格，因為一個很簡
單的事實：大家都知道「那是被剪輯過的」，就像是「喔，那個人真惡毒！」，不，她們
真的不是這樣的人，觀眾根本不認識她們，沒有身處現場的人，是不會瞭解參賽者的個性
的。我真的不在乎，如果有人想要這樣評判我，那就評判吧；如果有人想要真正瞭解我，
他們也可以來瞭解真實的我。

Q: Was there any more to the nighttime fight than we saw on the show?

問：關於那天晚上（跟英國妞）的戰爭，有任何我們沒有在節目上看到的部分嗎？

Seymone: Actually there was. I asked them to stop multiple times and they
didn’t. I had already told them that I wanted to go to bed, I was tired, we
had to wake up extremely early the next day. Eliminations are extremely early
in the morning. Personally I think it’s rude, it’s just, if I’m asking you
to stop, you stop. But if you’re throwing wet stuff at me and screaming when
you come into our room and stuff, you don’t do that, it’s rude. I guess they
got the worst of me.

Seymone：當然有。我已經要求她們停止惡作劇非常多次，但她們不願意停手。我已經告訴
她們我想要上床睡覺，我很累，我們隔天要非常早起床，淘汰環節是很早開錄的。我個人
覺得這是很粗魯的，如果我請妳停手，妳就不應該繼續。但如果妳對我丟濕的東西，進入
我們房間裡尖叫和惡作劇；不要這樣，這是很粗魯的事。我猜想結果就是她們引出了我最
糟的一面。

Q: Was there anyone in particular you didn’t get along with?

問：有任何參賽者是妳特別相處不來的嗎？

Seymone: It was just kind of like a little family. You have your ups and downs
with everyone, I guess if they choose to show those [fights], then they show
those. There was no particular person that I didn’t get along with.

Seymone：我們基本上就像個小小家庭。妳跟每個人都會有好的時候和壞的時候，我猜如果
製作單位選擇去呈現那些紛爭，那他們就會播出那些爭執的畫面。但並沒有任何特定參賽
者是我相處不來的。

Q: Were you close with anyone in particular?

問：妳有跟哪個參賽者特別親近嗎？

Seymone: I have a couple of people that I was close to on the American end, and
on the UK side. I absolutely loved every single one of them, Like I said,
we’re seriously like a family. To the point where we’re in sync and we’re
just like, “I don’t know if you wanna say that to them, you know how they
are.” And we had inside jokes, we had dances for each other. Once you get a
chance to talk to the rest of the girls, you should ask them. We have a dance
called “The Anneliese.”

Seymone：我和一些參賽者很好，我跟美國妹、英國妞兩邊都很親近。我喜歡她們每個人，
就像我說的，我們真的很像一個家庭。要說我們哪一點合拍，就像是：「我不知道是不是
要跟她們說些什麼，妳都已經很清楚她們是什麼樣子的人了。」，而我們參賽者內部有些
笑話，我們會為對方跳舞，如果你們之後有機會去訪問其他女孩，你們可以問問看她們，
我們有一支叫做「Anneliese」的舞。

Q: Was it hard being in the house as only plus-size model after Louise left?

問：在Louise離開之後，身為宿舍裡唯一的大尺碼模特兒是件很艱難的事嗎？

Seymone: Actually it wasn’t. I thought it was really funny because most girls,
they’re like “Oh my gosh I’m really fat,” and stuff like that. Those girls
were just like, “Oh my gosh, I’m gaining so much weight!” To a point where I
was like, “You know what? Hold on. You stand right there,” and I bent down
and I put my hand, I could fit both of my hands, like middle finger and my
thumb to each other, and my hands could fit around their thigh, so I was like,
“Are you serious? You wear like a double zero, please shut up and go eat
something.” I guess they thought they were gaining weight, but there’s
nothing wrong with them. Personally I love the way that I look, I am
average-sized. And I feel like if I were to talk to a plus-size model, she
would take it offensively that I was calling myself plus-size. I just think we
need to categorize it better. There’s no issue with it, I don’t care. They
were coming to me like, “Oh my gosh I like your butt,” and I was like,
“Thank you.”

Seymone：事實上，不會耶。我覺得真的很有趣，因為大部分女孩，就像是「我的天啊，我
是肥子…QQ」或之類的，她們會說：「天啊，我又變重了那麼多！」，碰到這個時候，我
就會說：「妳知道嗎？冷靜點，站在這裡。」，然後我會彎下腰，用我的手去測量，我用
雙手就能把她們的大腿圍住了（我的中指和拇指都能互相碰在一起），接著，我就會說：
「妳是認真的嗎？妳是穿最小號的衣服耶，閉嘴，然後去吃點東西吧！」，我猜女孩們總
覺得自己變胖了，但其實她們根本沒有什麼不對勁的地方。我個人很喜歡自己的體態，其
實我只是個中間尺碼的模特兒，我想，如果我去跟真正的大尺碼模特兒聊天，她一定會覺
得我稱自己「大尺碼模特兒」這件事很失禮，我們應該要把各種尺碼的模特兒定義的更清
楚。我對適應自己的身材沒有什麼問題，我不是很在乎。如果人們跑來告訴我：「天啊，
我喜歡妳豐滿的屁屁。」，我只會回答：「謝謝。」。

Q: Were you surprised by Tyra’s decision to fire Nigel Barker and The Js?

問：妳對於泰嬤決定把奈囧和雙J開除的決定感到訝異嗎？

Seymone: Actually I wasn’t. I really never paid attention to it, I was more
just in the competition. I know that they weren’t around a lot and they
didn’t talk to us that much. I think Tyra knows what she’s doing. She’s a
businesswoman, she’s smart, she’s been doing this for a while, she knows
what’s best for the show, and she knows what she’s doing. I think there is
nobody who could tell Tyra Banks how to run her own show.

Seymone：其實沒有耶，我真的從來沒有注意過這件事，我一直都專注在比賽上頭。我知道
他們在比賽中常出現，但他們沒跟我們說那麼多。我想泰嬤知道自己在做些什麼，她是個
商人，她很聰明，而且她做這個節目有一段時間了，她知道什麼是對節目最好的，她也知
道自己正在做些什麼。我想沒有人有資格告訴泰嬤該怎麼做她自己的節目。

Q: Did you agree with judge Kelly Cutrone’s assessment of your runway walk?

問：妳同意石凱莉對妳在台步上的評論嗎？

Seymone: Yeah, I think my walk is trash. I’m 100% honest, I never in the show,
ever, did I defend my walk. Why? Because I know it’s trash. It’s just the
fact that, I was upset during the casting, how they were. You don’t see in the
castings at all, all you see is before and after. Kelly Cutrone, I have the
utmost respect for her. I don’t see how she does it, I don’t see how she
keeps up with everything.Like I’m still trying to get the whole model/designer
thing going in my head, spinning, and she’s got it like it’s nothing, like
it’s effortless. I feel like if she says something to you, it’s constructive.
It might not come out the way you want it to sound, all sugarcoated and
everything, but if you want to be in the adult business, then you need to act
like an adult, and take it like an adult. Kelly Cutrone tells it like is, and
if you don’t like it, don’t ask her.

Seymone：嗯嗯，我知道我的台步糟透了。我百分之百誠懇地這樣說：我在節目中從來沒有
為我的台步找藉口過。為什麼？因為我知道我的台步糟透了。事實上，我之所以沮喪是因
為試鏡時那些人表現出來的樣子。觀眾並沒有看到試鏡的全部，節目只呈現一開始和最後
結果。我對石凱莉有最高的敬意，我不知道她是如何能夠做到，我不知道她是怎麼能掌控
好所有事情。就像，我還在試著把這些模特兒／設計師的事情整理進腦子裡，絞盡腦汁，
但石凱莉就像這一切都沒有什麼，幾乎不用費力似地就完成了。我覺得她說的話是有建設
性的，當然她可能不會如妳預期般的方式去告訴妳，像是包上糖衣或什麼的，但假如妳想
要進入成人的商業世界，妳就必須表現得像個成人、接受這些建議像個成人，石凱莉講的
話就像是這個樣子，不爽妳就別問她。

Q: Are you still in touch with Kyle?

問：妳還有和Kyle聯絡嗎？

Seymone: Oh my gosh, we were going to go to Six Flags together, she was like,
“Uh, problem.” And I was like, “Oh no!” I’m so happy for her [pregnancy],
I met her fiance, actually Kyle and I did a premiere party together with
Candace, I love those girls. There’s nothing they could do that would change
my opinion of them. Her fiance’s amazing, he’s so cool.

Seymone：我的天啊，我們還一起去了Six Flags，她跟我說：「呃…我有個問題。」，我
就說：「天啊！」，我超級高興她懷孕了，我有見到她的未婚夫，我、Kyle和Candace還
一起開趴慶祝了一番，我真愛這些女孩，沒有任何事情能改變我對她們的看法。Kyle的未
婚夫真的很棒，超酷的。
