Subtler is a fleeting procession of rabbit images in the
opening act. In the first shot, they appear as lawn
ornaments. Next, Grissom and Shibley pass a figurine
and a painting featuring more rabbits as they walk

導演Kenneth Fink的話：
"I was looking for something to contrast with the facts--
that the mother would have all these gentle images,
when she was incapable of protecting her own child
from a monster who lived in that demented house."

: 也難怪當初NICK會如此激動，但是卻沒想到藏著如此醜惡的秘密
: 有個小疑問，那BRANDA的父親是TINA的男友還是她的父親？
: 因為TINA的男友測謊結果說他殺他們不是為了以後可以和TINA交往不受限制
: 會是因為TINA一家對TINA被性侵的事不聞不問外，

Brenda 的父親應該就是Tina 的父親

最後老葛審訊那段對白寫得頗有玄機的：

GRISSOM: (realizing) Brenda is ... ? And who is ... ?

TINA COLLINS: The father?
I was thirteen ... and nobody noticed that my clothes were getting bigger.

表面上看來 Tina是接續老葛的問題: 誰是...爸爸？
可是也可以解讀成她是直接回答 Who is (the father)? The father.
不大可能是Tina 男友吧
她懷孕時才十三歲耶
我覺得男友只是純粹被利用來殺人而已...XD
跟Brenda被性侵無關

我覺得Brenda有被侵害
因為最後Cath看出地上的血跡
斷定爸爸不是走進去她房間察看/保護她，而是走出來
再加上Brenda說的關鍵字「水牛」正好就是爸爸戴的項鍊圖案
應該已經盡在不言中了吧...

這一集是根據Elizabeth Devine辦的案件改編的
當時Devine還只是顧問而已
某天他們開會時她說抱歉，我為了一件quadruple五天沒睡了
然後她跟製作群講那件案子，結果發現他很會講故事 XD

這集的片頭 Story by "Tish McCarthy"
