本集重點: 所以說到底誰的腦? XD

深夜的速食店, 店員跟點餐的女子調情中.
店員: It's a simple proposal. You, me, a bottle Crystal.
Oh, sorry, gotta to get this. (得來速的點餐)
Hello? Okay... guess your time's out...
車主: ...Number 17.
店員: Okay, what size? Monster one? (沉默) I'll take that as a NO.
(回到櫃檯前, 女子的男朋友出現了, 店員摸摸鼻子去窗口)
(結果發現車子在無人駕駛的情況下滑過窗口!?)
That is very funny. Hey! Who should pay for this!
下一秒, 滑出去的車在街上製造出相撞的各種噪音.

天亮了, 警方在現場.
布拔: All right, we got the words from the Tasty Time boy here.
The whole car just pass by the drive-through window. Slide to
the street, hit another car, and then crushed by the truck.
You know what they say. Fast food kills you.
DB: Not so fast.
布拔: (走到那台滑出速食店的車的旁邊) This one is Danny Clegg.
According to the witness, the car looks like automatically
moved or droven by a ghost. They didn't see the driver at all.
But the Tasty Time boy said he did ordered something.
囧尼: Could have a heartattack and then...
DB: What did he order?
布拔: Why?
DB: Curious.
布拔: (翻白眼看筆記) Number 17, Tripple cheeseburger and fries.
DB: Okay. What's this one? (走到被撞的車旁邊)
布拔: James Matshall. College boy. He didn't buckled. Witness said
he had two bottle of beers already when he stepped in his car.
DB: (看著車裡的酒瓶) He was working on his third one.
囧尼: (看著死者頭部裂開的縫) The boy is cracked...
布拔: (走向卡車) ...eventually leaving the truck driver speechless.
DB: (停下腳步) We got a math problem here.
布拔: Never good at math.
囧尼: Yeah?
DB: We got three bodies all with their brains set inside of their
head, right?
炯尼+布拔: (點頭)
DB: (地上卡車所載的眾多輪胎散落一地, 其中一個輪胎裡一顆無名腦!)
Then what's this brain doing done here?
(囧尼跟布拔走過來看, 傻眼) This gonna to be fun.

回到局裡, 囧尼走到DB辦公室, 看到一名年輕男孩把玩著籃球.
囧尼: You must be Charlie. (Charlie轉身)
Charlie: Sorry, I- hum...
囧尼: No, no, no. It's fine. I'm Nick Stokes. You're going to play
basketball for WLUV, right?
Charlie: Yeah (笑).
囧尼: So why're you here? Family meeting?
Charlie: (笑) Dad's talked about family meeting here already?
囧尼: Yeah, heard about... (被打斷)
DB: Hey! You met my son! Pretty cool!
DB問兒子說不是兩點應該要到xxxxx去嗎? 氣氛一時有些尷尬...
囧尼: Oh, you have a game tonight? All right, um, I checked the DMV
records of our victims; here's the report... (交給DB)
Hey, when you are on the court, remember to lit up that, man.
(離開)
Charlie: Thanks.

DB: So what's it?
Charlie: I was late like five minutes of the curview. Coach gave me
a suspension... It's stupid.
DB: You broke the rule.
Charlie: He's a little too serious, don't you think?
DB: That's his job. A rule is a rule. Step by the house tonight and
we'll talk through this. (Charlie心不甘情不願的點頭)
DB: (叫住離開的兒子) Just for record, how long is exactly "like five
minutes" late?
Charlie: ...Three hours.


囧尼跟莎拉在查Danny的車子中.
囧尼: Got a cooler here.
莎拉: Maybe he's driving and drinking.
囧尼: (打開cooler) ...Got some brain matter here. So what? He's a
med and drove a brain around to some hospitals?
莎拉: (查前座) Well, he's definitely on medicine but I won't trust
him on driving my brain around.
囧尼: Why is it?
莎拉: Oozy.
囧尼: Okay. (嘆氣) You know, we're down one body.
莎拉: Yeah. Trunks might have it. (兩人走到後車廂) You go.
(囧尼打開後車廂, 沒有屍體只有橄欖球一顆) Pigskin? That's it?
囧尼: (拿起橄欖球) You know, I start to think that Russell is a
psyche.
莎拉: Why?
囧尼: (晃晃橄欖球) It's number 17.
莎拉: And?
囧尼: One thing Russell asked Brass is what's the number our driver
ordered. It's number 17. And he never open the trunk.

小哈在進行車禍現場的電腦模擬.
小哈: (一邊看著模擬一邊自行配音中) Oh, no! Hurt!
DB: (走進來) The police had arrived. Thank God! I see you have fun
here?
小哈: Some people are visual, some people are audio. I have to be
both.
小哈跟DB解釋說從模擬來看無名腦是從Danny的車子飛出來的.
囧尼: (走進來, 拿著橄欖球) ... It's got number 17 on that.
How do you know that?
DB: What color is the horse?
小哈+囧尼: ???
DB: Really? That's a famous story! A horse got injured severely and
was suffered apparantly. A cop nearby cannot endure that and
decided to end the animal's pain with his .357. However,
unfortunately, the bullet bounced and hit the officer nearby.
When the case is presented to the chief, the first question he
asked is "what color is the horse." But nobody knows it!
囧尼: (愣了三秒) If you lost one small detail, who knows what else
you can loose?
DB: Cool story, hum? (笑著拍拍兩人後往外走)
小哈: That's a really nice story.

Morgan跟羅賓爺爺驗屍中, 羅賓爺爺說Danny的死因是藥物過量導致.
Morgan: And what should we do with the brain here?
羅賓爺爺: Weight it. Using that scale.
Morgan: 3.8 pound.
羅賓爺爺: That's a heavy one. Generally male brains weight around
3.6 and it's 3.4 for females.
Morgan: So this brain is a boy!
羅賓爺爺: I believe that the DNA report confirmed that.
Morgan: Hey, Brain Doe.
羅賓爺爺: Try to poke that.
Morgan: Feels like jello.
羅賓爺爺: Which means it's fresh... brain stem is cut neatly.
Skillfully removed.
Morgan: For specimen probably?
羅賓爺爺: Specimens will be put into preserves immediately once
removed. So it's unlikely.
Morgan: It's even more excited! We might talk about black market
brains! Thanks, Doc. That was fun!

剛出完庭的小葛跟凱姐回到局裡, 在儲物間被Chief叫住~~
Chief: Sanders. Willows. Coming or going?
凱姐: Coming.
Chief: Sanders, you looks like you need a cup of coffee.
小葛: Thank you, Chief. (離開)
Chief: So, how things go so far?
凱姐: (微笑聳肩) No compliants.
Chief: Yeah? I will complain if I were you. No advancement on
horizon. I would be pissed. ... DC is going to establish a
crime scene investigation section there. They need a full
time stuff... I recommeneded you.
凱姐: Really? Hum... I don't know what to say now.
Chief: You're welcome. Just think about that, okay? You want to end
your career here with dirty pants all rest of your life?
Go to D.C. Good pay. Sometimes you have to move out to move
up. ... it's not easy. Not in the law enforcement. That's a
man's world. (將信封交給凱姐往外走)

DB剛剛好在走廊上移動中~~
DB: Hey, Chief! Do you have a business?
Chief: (微笑) Always. (離開)
DB: (看到凱姐從儲物間走出來) Hey, Catherine. Everything is all
right?
凱姐: Yeah.
DB: All right... so I just got a code 2,00,000... what's this?
You ever seen so many zeros in the same number?
凱姐: Is this an assignment or an observation?
DB: Maybe both.
凱姐: (笑, 看著DB接電話) I'll take it.

電話裡布拔告訴DB說整個區域內有腦部移除的名單只有兩個,
一位Nora Babbit小姐跟一個自殺身亡的Ryan Dempsey先生.
DB: Both brains arrived the hospital already?
布拔: Safe and unsound. That's what I called it a dead end.

凱姐抵達犯罪現場, 是在一處殯儀館內,
殯儀館被人闖入, 而一具準備下葬的屍體遭到破壞...
凱姐: Hey, Lou.
V警探: Hey. Everything is all right?
凱姐: Why people keep asking me this question?
V警探跟凱姐說被破壞的屍體是一位Lt. Seligson, 猶太裔
凱姐: Guy survived the war...
V警探: That's the widow of Lt. Seligson. She came by as soon as she
heard that. Hard to say if it is worse or not...
凱姐: What do you mean?
V警探: I think our corp is bleeding.
凱姐走進犯罪現場後愣住了, Lt. Seligson的頭是被整個直接粗糙的切開...
V警探: This guy is a war hero. I heard you guys get a brain outside
the Tasty Time, it gonna to be his, right?
凱姐: Otherwise we got a brain collector out in Vegas.

莎拉來現場幫忙, 順便告訴凱姐說無名腦跟Lt. Seligson的DNA不合...
凱姐: No match?
莎拉: (檢視現場中) The two events has to be related. (走到後門邊)
You know, Nick and I found a crawl bar in Danny Clegg's car.
This powder says they're here.
凱姐: (打電話) Hodges, I got several shoe prints here. I need you
to compare it with Clegg's shoes. Coming in. (拍照傳送)

實驗室內, DB在小哈旁邊看比對結果.
小哈: It's a match.
Morgan來跟DB說Clegg的死因是藥物使用,
Morgan: We know the time frame. Around 12ish, Clegg is in the
monutory. Then, around 5am, he's in the drive way of the
Tasty Time. Somewhere between, Lt. Seligson's brain is
replaced by the Brain Doe!
小哈: How did he come up with a new brain?
DB: Well, where did our brain transporter drive around during this
period?
Morgan: Chicken nuggets!
DB: What?
Morgan: Dr. Robbin found chicken nuggets in Clegg's stomach. The
place he ordered that could be the place he nuggeted it up!
But how many can a person...
小哈: 20. (Morgan跟DB看向他) I know it's sounds a lot but sometimes
you just cannot get enough.
DB: Let's just take Clegg's car for a spin first, shall we?

小葛跟莎拉檢查車上的收據中.
小葛: Wow, this guy always ordered nuggets.
莎拉: But he ordered meal number 17 at the Tasty Time...
小葛: Here! I got it. He visited another Tasty Time on Altos
Bullefard around 3 am...
兩人調出監視錄影帶.
小葛: Here he is. Clegg is home. (螢幕上另一台車開Clegg旁的停車位)
Think he's sharing nuggets?
莎拉: I think they're swapping the brains. Can you get the plate?
小葛放大車牌號碼, Morgan搜尋的結果找到一位Dr. Hanson Eller.
莎拉: He's a pathologist working in Seneca... Wait, I've heared
this place before. That's the place where the brain of
Ryan Dempsy went to... If it's switched...
小葛: The brain belongs to Ryan Dempsey!
莎拉: Somebody needs to break the news to his family then.

DB負責與Ryan的遺孀Joyce對談
Joyce: The brain arrived.
DB: A brain arrived. We don't believe it belongs to your husband.
Joyce: I- I don't understand. Ryan got CDM... He's a professional
wrestler, so injuries is unpreventable... But he always
thought through it. Said he was doing this for us.
Ryan started loosing memories. He's upset...
DB: And when he got upset, he?
Joyce: (苦笑) Things could get bad.

布拔在走廊上跟Ryan的兒子攀談.
布拔: Hey, kid. You're Declyn, right? I heard about your dad.
Declyn: And you're sorry for my loss?
布拔: Yeah, I do. I really do.

Joyce: You know- they, they study your brain if you got the problem.
He was killing himself so that people can study his brain.
How crazy is that?
DB: I'm sorry, Mrs. Dempsey, I know it must be hard, but -
can you walk me through the day before his suicide?
Joyce: Declyn and I went for a hiking. A family vacation. Ryan said
he got headache and therefore he didn't go with us...
And when we got back to the cabin... we saw him...
DB: And then what you did?
Joyce: I- I called Ryan's friends, also his trainer, Bill. Bill
Pernin. He helped to call the hospital...
DB: Do you ever see Dr. Eller then?
Joyce: The man was going to remove my husband's brain? I don't
care to know him.
DB: Sure.

布拔: My dad and I didn't get along. You get along with yours?
No? My dad took a belt to me. Tough ones. There is one time
that I popped in the jaw. I could tell it hurts, too.
Never feel better though...
此時DB帶著Joyce出來, Joyce帶著Declyn離去.
DB: Wife has bruises.
布拔: And kid is quiet. I'll do some check to see if there's any
domestic violance call.
DB: And call Seneca PD probably as well.
布拔: Why?
DB: Said they're in family vacation. Vacation could be stressful.
布拔: (電話響接電話) Brass. Where? Okay. (掛電話)
Dr. Eller's car has showed up.
DB: I'll send Nick.

囧尼布拔抵達現場, Dr. Eller死在車內.
囧尼: So, unless our killer is just 4 inch high, it's more likely
he drove another car, pulled here, dip out the driver's side
window, and boom! (拿出子彈) Nine millimeter.
布拔: Well, maybe a third party want to join their brain game.
囧尼: Or the third party who's already in the game wants to silence
Danny Clegg...
布拔: Yeah, and silence Eller.

Morgan跟羅賓爺爺找上DB,
Dr. Eller送到醫學中心的腦袋不是Ryan Dempsey而是Lt. Seligson的.
羅賓爺爺: This brain is a hack job.
Morgan: But Ryan Dempey's brain? That's a professional work.
...Maybe even improvised.
DB: Okay, so Ryan Dempsy commited suiside. But why they need another
brain?
羅賓爺爺: Lt. Seligson's a Jewish. According to their traditions,
the body needs to be embalmed.
Morgan: So the brain is fresh. And he's a perfect guy. No drugs,
no alchol abuse, nothing. A perfect specimen.
羅賓爺爺: So the question is, who will want to replace this one
with that one?
DB: The silent partner.

莎拉去找小哈.
莎拉: Uh, what are you doing?
小哈: (面前堆滿雞塊) Um, it's a break room. I want a break.
莎拉: You know chicken nuggets didn't really look like that, right?
小哈: Please don't ruin my lunch. So, I break into the gym and get
the information you asked. Here's the record.
莎拉: YOU break into a gym?
小哈: Under a shirt, ripped.
莎拉: (接過報告) I- I believe you! (離開前最後一發) There are no
chickens inside them!

小葛跟莎拉檢視報告, 發現說Clegg跟Ryan原為同一家搏擊俱樂部的選手,
而Dr. Eller曾經也在那家俱樂部工作過,
換句話說, 三個人的共通點是都認識Joanna提到的那位Bill Pernin先生~

小葛跟莎拉去俱樂部找人.
莎拉: Bill Pernin?
Bill: Yeah, can I help you? Let me guess, you guys are here to join
the Real Fuel Couple's Bull Camp, hum?
莎拉: Sara Sidle. Greg Sanders. We are from the LVPS crime lab. We
need to talk to you.
Bill: All right. (離開拳擊場地)
小葛: Nice facility.
Bill: Thanks. So what can I help you?
莎拉: So you're the one who arrange the brain donation of Ryan
Dempsey to the Seneca?
Bill: Yes. Joyce called me. I called them.
莎拉: How did you know Dr. Eller?
Bill: ...He used to help me train in my gym.
莎拉: Then do you have any idea why Ryan Dempsey's brain ends up in
Danny Clegg's cooler? The connection of those three guys
other than your trainig is that they're all dead.
Bill: Look, I haven't seen Clegg for like years. And Dr. Eller? Last
time I saw him I was crying over my friend's body. Now, excuse
me, I have other things to take care of. (離開)
小葛: You think you can get the guy a membership?
莎拉: Not a lifetime one.

布拔找DB
DB: You want to see me?
布拔: Yeah. I checked the domestic violance reports. Came up empty.
Now. Look at this. (遞出Ryan自殺現場的照片)
Half a bottle there. Do you see what I don't see?
DB: (看照片) No gun shut residue on the guy's shirt.
布拔: ...Yeah, that's a tricky suiside.
DB: ...Ryan Dempsy is murdered.

DB, 莎拉跟囧尼的腦力激盪時間...
DB: All right, let's start by getting all our brains through.
囧尼: So we got Danny Clegg, a pre S.F.F. fighter. Driving around
in the midnight with a brain in his cooler.
莎拉: ... and Dr. Eller, who got shut. And the only connection we
know about those guys is Bill Pernin, who's the trainer of
Danny Clegg and worked with Dr. Eller before.
DB: ... Ryan Dempsy's brain might be worth to take a look.

小哈進行了Ryan的大腦的檢測~~


莎拉: We found that Ryan was taking DMT, also as Danny Clegg.
And we also found you called Clegg the night of Ryan's suicide.
Bill: Pocket dial. What you want?
布拔: We also suspect that Ryan is not suicide... Were you tuning
her up, too? Joyce Dempsy called you to help her cleaning the
crime scene? And then you dialed a 911 to the Senaca one hour
later?
Bill: ...Now I get to make another call.

DB走進辦公室, Charlie正在彈著吉他.
DB: Hey.
Charlie: Hey you remember this one, Dad?
DB: Trying to soften me, right?
Charlie: Is it working?
DB: I've talked to the coach. He's worried about you.
Charlie: He's worried about winning!
DB: He should be. That's his job. Why did you not go to the curview?
I want to know why, Charlie.
Charlie: ...The other players didn't get me. It's different here,
Dad.
DB: You're new to the team, Charlie. They will get you once they
know you better. Join the club. We're weired. My question is,
do you still love playing basketball?
Charlie: Yes.
DB: Okay... Appologize to your coach, take your suspension with a
smile and wait till next game to play. Can you do that?
Charlie: Yeah, I can.

DB研究證物中, 囧尼出現~~
DB: Hey! Talk to me. I promise. I promise. No more story. So, why
did Clegg ordered meal 17 in the Taste Time? He was a nugget
man. Or at that time the drug already knocked off his system?
But that should get him thirsty, not hungry...
囧尼: You know what bothers me most? The football. Cause I played a
little football. Maybe he starts thinking about good times?
DB: Clegg didn't play football.
囧尼: But Dempsey did.
DB: So Dempsey gave Clegg the ball? Why? And he's still driving
around with Dempsey's brain.
囧尼: Maybe he's not helping anyone? Maybe he's trying to help his
friend? (拿起球跟剪刀)
DB: Hey, what are you doing?
囧尼: I think it's about time to figure out what this football comes
into play, don't you?
DB: Yeah, what's the hell, go on.
囧尼: (剪開球) Hold. (從球裡面拿出一之注射針筒) I guess you never
really know what's important.

小葛去找Morgan
小葛: So guess what the warrant from the print of Pernin on the
syringe got for us? (拿出一把槍) In his sock drawer.
Morgan: See if it's a match with the bullet killed Dr. Eller.
Fire one! (兩人測試了槍枝, 是吻合的) Nice.

於是說換腦袋以隱藏Ryan使用藥物這整個設局是Bill做的無誤,
也是他殺了Dr. Eller以滅口,
只是誰都沒想到Clegg的藥物作用最後會引發導致接下來一連串調查的"車禍"
布拔: He still didn't admit the murder or point that to Joyce
Dempsey.
DB: Well, I guess he has a huge capacity for love still, then.
布拔: Want me to take a pass with the kid?

於是布拔走進Declyn被留置的地方...
布拔: (對所有陪伴Declyn的員警說) Everybody I would love some privacy.
Hey, kid. I think I need to finish my lines last time...
Well, the better feeling lasts like 15 second. But the regret?
It lasts 40 years... No one in their life is all good or all
bad. Even my dad and I have some good times. I bet you did as
well. Remember the good, remember the one who loved you.
So, hum, about that night... we know your mother had a fight
with your dad, didn't they?
Declyn: They were always fighting.
布拔: Come on, Deck... remember the good.
Declyn: There are no good times. He threw me down stairs. He was
chocking my mom because she tried to protect me. But I
couldn't protect her...
I know what you think my mother did, but the truth is...
布拔: (發覺不對) Look, don't say another word.
Declyn: I killed him. And, really, I never feel better.


本集心得: 1) 原來是要安排女王這樣離場啊... 好吧可以接受.
雖然捨不得, 總是也會希望女王有更好的發展的啊~~
2) Charlie同學不錯看, Russell把拔跟Jo姐比又是不同風情, 不錯不錯~
3) 案件不錯啊~~小哈的模擬畫面配音很吵~~ XDD
Morgan的法醫室遊樂場有溫馨(?)到~~ XDD
被當成一對的企鵝太太跟小葛無奈互望的那一眼滿好笑的~~
