nBSG 前傳分店宣佈開張... - 歐美

簡單地說, SciFi 頻道宣佈說準備拍 nBSG 的分支影集, 名之曰 Caprica,
SciFi 信心滿滿地說將會是電視史上第一部科幻的家庭史詩鉅構, 故事
將集中在 Adama 家族以及賽隆人的誕生。

時間會設定在 nBSG 之前的 50 年, 故事將發生在十二殖民地的首都 Caprica,
人類過著和平的日子, 享受高科技的便利, 但隨著一個先進的機械式人工生命
的發展, 一切將會有所改變

目前的發展團隊除了 nBSG 的製作 Ron D. Moore 及 David Eick 外, 還有
"24" 的編劇 Remi Aubuchon 和 NBC 電視台

電視台對節目的敘述：

The people of the Twelve Colonies are at peace and living in
a society not unlike our own, but where high-technology has
changed the lives of virtually everyone for the better. But
a startling breakthrough in robotics is about to occur, one
that will bring to life the age-old dream of marrying artificial
intelligence with a mechanical body to create the first living
robot -- a Cylon. Following the lives of two families, the
Graystones and the Adamas (the family of William Adama, who
will one day become the commander of the Battlestar Galactica)
Caprica weaves corporate intrigue, techno-action and sexual
politics into television's first science fiction family saga.

氣氛, 所以過去發生的事其實沒有說會讓我有想看的慾望
