Raymond' dad Peter Boyle dies in NYC

NEW YORK - Peter Boyle, the actor who transformed from an angry workingman in
"Joe" to a tap-dancing monster in "Young Frankenstein" and finally the
comically grouchy father on "Everybody Loves Raymond," has died. He was 71.

Boyle died Tuesday evening at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He had been
suffering from multiple myeloma and heart disease, said his publicist,
Jennifer Plante.

"It's like losing a spouse," Doris Roberts, who played his wife on
"Raymond," said in a statement. "I'm going to miss my dear friend,
so unlike the character he played on television. He's a brilliant actor,
a gentleman, incredibly intelligent, wonderfully well read and a loving friend."

我想影集版的版友對他比較熟悉的演出應該都是來自Everybody Loves Raymond吧
他的電視電影作品都非常多

他最早出名的飾演科學怪人.有一集ELR的萬聖節他還扮成科學怪人

看到新聞真的很難過.我沒想到我哭了.可能是因為晚上9點才看完正在這邊播出的ELR S8
還想說"Frank真是好笑阿".11點就看到這則新聞.下個星期影集還是會播出.但是
Peter Boyle已經離開了.

我之前的文章有提到,Peter Boyle在ELR後期好像身體就不太好.已經很少走動的戲了
而且跟前幾季比也有明顯的老態.我不禁要想,也許ELR繼續拍下去,Peter Boyle
也不會走的這麼快吧.
