Rent B'way Alums Take to the Road for 10th Anniversary Tour

Rent Broadway alums Jeremy Kushnier, Trey Ellet, John Eric Parker, Danielle
Lee Greaves, Andy Senor and Caren Lyn Manuel are taking to the road as part
of the company of the Rent 10th anniversary world tour. The tour is scheduled
to kick off November 22 in Singapore and will feature Asian recording
artist/film star Karen Mok as Mimi.

Rent debuted at New York Theatre Workshop before moving to Broadway's
Nederlander Theatre, where it opened on April 29, 1996 and continues to play.
The rock musical earned 10 Tony Award nominations and netted four awards,
including Best Musical and Best Score. Based on Giacomo Puccini's classic
1896 opera, La Boheme, the tuner tells the story of struggling young artists
living on the edge and reaching for glory in New York's East Village. The
late Jonathan Larson wrote the show's book, music and lyrics.
The film version of the musical is being released in the U.S. on November 23.

After Singapore, this Rent tour is scheduled to stop in Hong Kong, Beijing,
Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei and more.
