[Scene: Monica and Rachel's, the party has started.]
[場景：莫妮卡和瑞秋家，派對已經開始。]

Janice: I love this artichoke thing!
Oh, don't tell me what's in it, the diet starts tomorrow!
(Laughs her Janice laugh)
我喜歡這種朝鮮薊之類的東西！
喔，不要跟我說裡面有什麼，我明天再開始節食！
(珍妮絲招牌笑聲)

Chandler: You remember Janice.
你記得珍妮絲吧。

Monica: Vividly.
很清楚。

(Someone knocks on the door; Monica gets it)
(有人敲了敲門，莫妮卡去開)

Monica: Hi.
嗨。

Sandy: Hi, I'm Sandy.
嗨，我是珊蒂。

Joey: Sandy! Hi! C'mon in!
(She enters, followed by a young boy and a younger girl)
...You brought your kids.
珊蒂！嗨！快進來！(她進來，後面跟著一個小男孩和一個小女孩)
...你把孩子帶來啦。

Sandy: Yeah. That's okay, right?
對啊，沒關係吧，對不對？

(Joey and Monica look at each other and shrug.
Ross enters with Marcel on his shoulder)
(喬伊和莫妮卡對看一眼然後聳了聳肩。
羅斯進來，馬賽爾在他肩上。)

Ross: Par-tay!
派～對！

Monica: That thing is not coming in here.
那東西不准進到這裡來。

Ross: 'That thing'? This is how you greet guests at a party?
Let me ask you something, if I showed up here with my new girlfriend,
she wouldn't be welcome in your home?
「那東西？」這就是你們這個派對的待客之道？
讓我問你一件事，如果我帶來這裡的是我的新女朋友，
她也不會被請進你們家嗎？

Monica: I'm guessing your new girlfriend wouldn't urinate on my coffee table.
我想你的新女朋友應該不會尿在我的咖啡桌上。

Ross: Okay. He was more embarrassed about that than anyone. Okay?
And for him to have the courage to walk back in here
like nothing happened...
夠了。他比任何一個人都還感到丟臉，好嗎？
為了他能夠提起勇氣假裝沒事一樣回到這裡來...

Monica: Alright. Just keep him away from me.
好啦。讓他離我遠一點。

Ross: Thank you. (She walks off) C'mon, Marcel, whaddya say you and I
do a little mingling? (Marcel runs off)
Alright, I'll, uh... catch up with you later.
謝謝你。(她走開) 來吧，馬賽爾，你覺得我們倆來交流一下如何？
(馬賽爾跑走) 好吧，我，呃... 待會再去找你。

(The door opens. Rachel is standing there.
Her coat is muddy and torn, her hair is dishevelled and her face is bruised.
Everyone turns to look)
(門開起來。瑞秋站在那。她的外套泥濘又破爛，頭髮凌亂，臉上有擦傷。
大家都轉頭過去看)

Monica: Oh my gosh! Rachel, honey.. are you okay? Where-where's Paolo?
喔，天啊！瑞秋，親愛的...你還好吧？保...保羅人呢？

Rachel: Rome. Jerk missed his flight.
在羅馬。那混蛋錯過了飛機。

Phoebe: And then... your face is bloated?
然後...你的臉就被烤焦了？

Rachel: No. Okay. I was at the airport, getting into a cab,
when this woman- this blonde planet with a pocketbook-
starts yelling at me. Something about how it was her cab first.
And then the next thing I know she just starts-
starts pulling me out by my hair!
So I'm blowing my attack whistle thingy and three more cabs show up,
and as I'm going to get into a cab she tackles me.
And I hit my head on the kerb and cut my lip on my whistle...
oh...everybody having fun at the party?
(To Monica) Are people eating my dip?
不是，好。我剛剛在機場，正要搭計程車，有一個女人...
一個拿著包包的金髮巨人...開始對我大叫。說一些車子是他先的之類的。
接下來我就只知道她開始...開始抓我的頭髮！
我就開始吹我的防狼口哨，然後又來了三台計程車，
當我正要進到車子裡她又撞過來。
結果我頭去撞到車子，嘴唇又被口哨割傷...
喔...大家在派對玩的開心嗎？(對莫妮卡)有人要吃我的沾醬嗎?

[Time lapse. Monica and Rachel, fixed up somewhat, emerge from a bedroom]
[時間經過。莫妮卡和瑞秋，從臥室裡走出來。]

Sandy: Y'know, when I saw you at the store last week,
it was probably the first time I ever mentally undressed an elf.
知道嗎，當我上禮拜在店裡看到你的時候，
那大概是我第一次在心裡扒光了一個精靈。

Joey: Wow, that's, uh, dirty.
哇，那好，呃，下流。

Sandy: Yeah.
對吧。

(They almost kiss and then Joey realises her kids are staring at them)
(他們差點接吻但喬伊發現她的孩子們正看著他們)

Joey: Hey, kids...
嘿，小朋友...

Ross: (Watching Marcel play with Phoebe. To Chandler)
Look at him. I'm not saying he has to spend the whole evening with me,
but at least check in.
(看著馬賽爾跟菲碧玩，對錢德說)
看看他。我並不是說他要一整晚都跟我在一起，但至少要來看一下嘛。

Janice: (Startles them) There you are! Haaah, you got away from me!
(嚇到他們) 你在這啊！哈啊，你離我太遠囉！

Chandler: (Imitating) But you found me!
(學她) 但是你找到我了！

Janice: Here, Ross, take our picture.
(Hands him a camera and he starts snapping)
Smile! You're on Janice Camera!
拿著，羅斯，幫我們拍照。
(給他一台相機，他開始拍照。)
笑一個！你在珍妮絲的鏡頭裡喔！

Chandler: Kill me. Kill me now.
殺了我。快殺了我。

(Someone else knocks on the door. Monica looks through the spyhole)
(又有人)敲門。莫妮卡從窺視孔看了看。)

Monica: Hey everybody! It's Fun Bobby!
嘿各位！風趣巴比來了！

(Everyone cheers. Monica opens the door. Bobby is obviously very depressed)
(大家歡呼。莫妮卡開門。巴比很明顯的非常沮喪)

Fun Bobby: Hey, sorry I'm late. But my, uh, grandfather,
he- died about two hours ago.
But I-I-I couldn't get a flight out 'til tomorrow, so here I am!
嘿，抱歉我遲到了。但我的，呃，爺爺，
他...兩個鐘頭前過世了。
但是我...我...我明天之前都沒有飛機能搭，只好過來啦！

Joey: (Approaching) Hey Fun Bobby! Whoah! Who died?
(靠近) 嘿，風趣巴比！哇！誰死了嗎？

(Monica gestures wildly behind Fun Bobby's back)
(莫妮卡在風趣巴比後面大動作比劃)
