[CSI實驗室內 – 白天]

(Speedle sits in front of the monitor next to Megan. They're looking at a
close-up of the hair follicle.)
(史畢和梅根坐在螢幕前，兩人正看著頭髮毛囊的特寫。)

TIM SPEEDLE: You ran a chemical profile on her hair?
提姆．史畢：妳替她的頭髮做化學檢測了?

MEGAN DONNER: Mm-hmm. Trace elements can generally be found in the
follicles. Luckily, she was a brunette.
梅根．唐那：嗯哼。在毛囊中發現了微量跡證。幸運的是，她是位深褐色頭髮的。

TIM SPEEDLE: Right. Dark hair stores higher concentrations of most
contaminants.

MEGAN DONNER: Mm-hmm. Nice thing about hair is it grows at an even rate.
About a half an inch per month.

TIM SPEEDLE: Gives us a nice timeline.

MEGAN DONNER: (sighs) Yeah. She'd been using antidepressants for the past
year. Prozac and zoloft. Six months ago, she smoked some pot.

TIM SPEEDLE: And they say blondes have more fun.

MEGAN DONNER: Here's the interesting part. Three months ago -- huge spike
of dilaudid.

TIM SPEEDLE: Painkiller? Maybe she had a car accident? Surgery?

MEGAN DONNER: (shakes her head) Not according to her medical records and
not at these levels.

(She hands him the test results. Speedle looks at the printout.)

(Megan shows Horatio the test results.)

HORATIO CAINE: A suicide attempt?
何瑞修．肯恩：企圖自殺?

MEGAN DONNER: Mass spec doesn't lie. Suicide's the only explanation. She
was front and center in an SEC investigation. She knew where all the bodies were
buried. Maybe she couldn't live with that.
梅根．唐那：質譜分析儀不會說謊，自殺是唯一的解釋。她對SEC的調查有舉足輕重的地
位，也知道所有不可見光的內幕，也許因為這樣，她無法面對自己良心。

HORATIO CAINE: Maybe someone couldn't live with her.

MEGAN DONNER: She tired to kill herself three months ago.
梅根．唐那：三個月前她嘗試自殺。

HORATIO CAINE: Tried and failed.
何瑞修．肯恩：嘗試但失敗了。

MEGAN DONNER: Well, maybe this time she succeeded.
梅根．唐那：那麼也許她這次成功了。

HORATIO CAINE Listen, most whistle-blowers are women and I think she was
planning to take the company down.

MEGAN DONNER: Well, we'll never know that, will we? Her testimony died with
her.
梅根．唐那：我們永遠不會知道，對嗎? 她的證詞和她一起埋葬了。

HORATION CAINE: Much to her boss's benefit now that she cannot testify.
何瑞修．肯恩：現在對她老闆最大的好處，就是她沒辦法作證了。

MEGAN DONNER: If you want to kill someone there are easier ways than
shooting the pilot especially when you're on the same flight.
梅根．唐那：如果你要殺害某人，有比射殺駕駛員更容易的作法，特別是當你在同一架飛

HORATIO CAINE: A woman was murdered on that plane.
何瑞修．肯恩：一名女性在飛機上遭到殺害。

MEGAN DONNER: That's a hunch talking. Where's the evidence? Show me you're
right.

(Megan and Horatio stop outside the lab.)

(Speedle looks up and sees Megan and Horatio out in the hallway. Delko sits
next to him at the table looking through a scope.)
(史畢抬頭看著梅根和何瑞修在大廳。戴可坐在他旁邊看著顯微鏡。)

TIM SPEEDLE: That can't be good.
提姆．史畢：看來狀況不太好。

(Delko looks up.)
(戴可抬頭看。)

ERIC DELKO: What does she think? She can waltz in here after six months of
being gone and just take over?
艾瑞克．戴可：她在想什麼? 她以為能離開六個月後，還可以回來這邊直接接管一切?

(Speedle looks at Delko.)
(史畢看向戴可。)

TIM SPEEDLE: You know ... you're an ass.
提姆．史畢：你知道…你是個混蛋。

ERIC DELKO: What did I say?

TIM SPEEDLE: She lost her husband. What did they give her -- two weeks off?
She needed a little bit of time. Big deal.

ERIC DELKO: Man, I didn't know.

(Out in the hallway, Megan leaves. Horatio looks into the lab. He pushes
the door open and sticks his head into the lab.)

HORATIO CAINE: Gentlemen, those black boxes?
何瑞修．肯恩：各位，那些黑盒子呢?

ERIC DELKO: Yeah, uh, we've been over the site twice and-and the sonar
pingers are supposed to activate automatically when the boxes hit the water but we're
doing everything we can.
艾瑞克．戴可：對，我們已經搜索地點兩次，而且，而且盒子一沉入水中，聲納定位應該

HORATIO CAINE: We need to do better. As soon as you can.

(Horatio presses the buttons on the door of the glass room. Inside, the
large plane door is being fingerprinted. He and Megan watch as the glass room
fills with the chemical.)
(何瑞修按下玻璃室門上的按鈕，裡頭充滿了化學藥劑。他和梅根看著正在進行指紋採樣
的飛機艙門。)

HORATIO CAINE: Survey says ...
何瑞修．肯恩：調查顯示…

(As they look and wait, prints appear on the plane door.)

[INT. CSI - PRINT LAB -- DAY]
[CSI指紋分析室內 – 白天]

(Horatio and Megan stand in front of the door looking at the prints.)
(何瑞修和梅根站在艙門前，觀察著指紋。)

HORATIO CAINE: Okay, so we've run the prints. The green ones are
Christina's. The red ones belong to Sommer and he is all over this door.
何瑞修．肯恩：好的我們已經驗出了指紋。綠色是克莉絲提娜的，紅色是薩默的，而他的
指紋布滿整個艙門。

MEGAN DONNER: He said he tried to stop her.
梅根．唐那：他說他當時試著阻止她。

HORATIO CAINE: Mm-hmm, that's what he says.
何瑞修．肯恩：嗯，他雖這樣說，但不代表可信。

MEGAN DONNER: Let's go through his story. Christina's going to kill
herself. She gets out of her seat ... and goes to the door, but Sommer comes after
her, to try to stop her. They struggle...
梅根．唐那：我們照著他說的還原現場看看。克莉絲提娜試著自殺，離開她的座位…然
後走向逃生門，但是薩默緊跟在後，試著阻止她。於是他們發生肢體衝突…

(Megan steps up to the door and puts her hand on the "Christina" print.
Horatio steps up behind her.)
(梅根走向門邊，把自己的手放在克莉絲提娜的指紋上。何瑞修走到她身後。)

HORATIO CAINE: Why does he have a handprint so high up here?
何瑞修．肯恩：為什麼薩默在這麼高的地方留下指紋?

(He places his hand on the "Sommer" print.)
(何瑞修把手放在薩默的指紋上。)

MEGAN DONNER: Maybe her other hand was here.
梅根．唐那：也許她另一隻手在這裡。

(Out of camera frame, she places her right hand on the print.)
(梅根把她的右手放到鏡頭外的指紋上。)

HORATIO CAINE: Okay but he's got prints on the handle down here.
何瑞修．肯恩：但是他在門把這裡留下指紋。

(Horatio reaches around Megan to the door handle.)
(何瑞修伸手繞過梅根到門把上。)

MEGAN DONNER: Could've put his hand there to brace himself.
梅根．唐那：可能是為了頂住自己。

HORATIO CAINE: Okay. Why doesn't he just take both hands, grab her and pull
her away from the door?
何瑞修．肯恩：好的。那為什麼他不用雙手，抓住她把她拉離門?

(Horatio removes his hands from the door and places them on Megan's waist and
pulls her back away from the door.)
(何瑞修把手抽離門，然後放在梅根的腰，把她拉離逃生門。)

MEGAN DONNER: She's trying to get the door open.
梅根．唐那：因為她試著要打開門。

(With both hands, Megan grabs the door handle.)
(梅根用雙手抓住門把。)

MEGAN DONNER: Maybe he's trying to stop her.
梅根．唐那：也許他試著阻止她。

HORATIO CAINE: Or maybe it was the other way around.
何瑞修．肯恩：也許反過來。

MEGAN DONNER: It's inconclusive. There's any number of ways it could've
played out.
梅根．唐那：這沒有定論，有太多可能了。

HORATIO CAINE: Unless ... now, bear with me, bear with me ... unless...
Sommer said that Christina fell out of the plane as soon ... as the door opened.
何瑞修．肯恩：除非…照著我說的試試…除非…薩默說克莉絲提娜是門一打開就飛出去的。

(Horatio places Megan's hands on the door frame, her back to the door. He
steps back.)
(何瑞修把梅根的手放在逃生門框架上，梅根背靠著門。何瑞修往後退。)

HORATIO CAINE: She was hanging on.
何瑞修．肯恩：她當時緊抓著門框。

MEGAN DONNER: No. She was hanging on.
梅根．唐那：天阿，她當時緊抓著。

HORATIO CAINE: She was hanging on.

[INT. GRACE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL - HALLWAY -- DAY]
[格雷斯紀念醫院內 – 大廳 – 白天]

(Horatio bursts through the double doors. Megan and Det. Eddie Delacroix
follow. He turns and heads for Sommer's room.)

(何瑞修推開兩邊的門進入，梅根和艾迪．德拉克洛瓦警官隨後，他轉彎前往薩默的病房。)

(They find the room empty and a nurse making up the bed.)
(他們發現病房是空的，一位護士正在整理床鋪。)

HORATIO CAINE: Nurse, the patient that was in this room -- where is he?
何瑞修．肯恩：護士，在這間病房的病人 – 他在哪?

NURSE: He checked himself out about an hour ago.

[EXT. TIGERFISH'S PLACE -- DAY]

(Jim Tigerfish looks at a piece of paper. He puts it down and looks at
Speedle.)
(吉姆．虎魚看著一份文件，放下它然後看向史畢。)

JIM TIGERFISH: What the hell is this?
吉姆．虎魚：這到底是什麼?

TIM SPEEDLE: That's a warrant to search the premises.
提姆．史畢：一張搜查你房屋的搜索票。

JIM TIGERFISH: For what?
吉姆．虎魚：搜查什麼?

TIM SPEEDLE: For items looted from an air-crash site. What'd you think, you
were going to sell them on e-bay?
提姆．史畢：搜查從空難現場偷竊回來的物品。你真以為可以把它們放在e-bay上拍賣嗎?

(He looks past Tigerfish over at Delko who's looking for the signal.)

TIM SPEEDLE: Hey! You got a locator signal?

ERIC DELKO: Yup.
艾瑞克．戴可：是啊。

(Speedle clicks his tongue in distaste. He walks past Tigerfish and heads
for Delko.)
(史畢嫌惡地嘖嘖，經過虎魚走向戴可。)

TIM SPEEDLE: Then why don't you go get 'em?
提姆．史畢：那你怎麼不去拿?

(Delko looks up from the tank he's looking at.)
(戴可從他注視著的水箱抬頭看。)

ERIC DELKO: Why don't you?
艾瑞克．戴可：何不你來拿?

(Speedle looks at the tank and finds what they're looking for in a tank full
of baby alligators. Lots of them.)
(史畢看著水箱，發現裡面到處都是幼年短吻鱷。)

TIM SPEEDLE: They're just babies.
提姆．史畢：牠們只是小孩。

ERIC DELKO: What are you waiting for? Let's go.
艾瑞克．戴可：還在等什麼? 來吧。

(They each put on their latex gloves.)
(兩人雙雙戴上橡膠手套。)

TIM SPEEDLE: On three. One ... two ... three.
提姆．史畢：數到三。一…二…三。

(Delko and Speedle both stick their hands into the tank and pull out the
boxes.)
(戴可和史畢伸手進入水箱，拉出箱子來。)

(Delko laughs.)
(戴可大笑。)

[INT. CSI - AUDIO/VISUAL LAB -- DAY]
[CSI影音分析室內 – 白天]

(Speedle introduces what they'll be listening to.)
(史畢解說著他們等一下要聽的。)

TIM SPEEDLE: Okay, so, black boxes -- I understand that they're really
orange. This one over here is a cockpit voice recorder. Records the last thirty
minutes of conversation over the cockpit mics. This is a flight data recorder --
documents forty-eight parameters of the flight: Airspeed, flaps, trim-- the
works. So this will help us with a timeline to figure out why it went down.
Peter?
提姆．史畢：好的，那麼黑盒子 – 我瞭解它們事實上是橘色的。那邊那個是座艙通話記
錄器，專門記錄最後三十分鐘駕駛艙麥克風間的對話。這一個則是飛航記錄器 – 記錄四

PETER: Mm-hmm.

(Peter, the Audio/Visual Technician, turns and starts playing the recording
from the flight.)

AIR-TRAFFIC CONTROLLER: (recording) Eaglet 9-0-6 fly runway heading runway
9 left, cleared for takeoff.
管制人員：(錄音) 飛鷹906號起飛跑道請前往9號跑道左側，已清空準備起飛。

PILOT: (recording) Set takeoff power: 100 knots.
駕駛員：(錄音) 設置起飛動力：100節。

COPILOT: (recording) Power is set. See that game last night? Dolphins are
pretty good this year.
副駕駛：(錄音) 動力設置完成。看了昨晚的比賽了嗎? 海豚隊今年表現很不錯呢。

(Horatio smiles at the conversation.)
(何瑞修聽了莞爾一笑。)

PILOT: (recording) Never make the playoffs without a quarterback.
駕駛員：(錄音) 沒有四分衛的話，他們絕對打不進季後賽。

(Peter turns the recorder off for the moment.)
(彼得暫時關掉錄音器。)

TIM SPEEDLE: The first four minutes after takeoff were normal. It gets
pretty funky after that.
提姆．史畢：起飛後的四分鐘沒什麼特別，在這之後的可精彩了。

(Peter resumes playing the recording.)

CAPTAIN: (recording) This is the captain. Our flight time to Washington,
D.C. is two hours, 20 minutes. Temperature is 72 degrees.

(On the recording, there's a loud clunk. In the background we can hear a
woman's raised voice.)

(突然有一聲很大的碰撞聲，從背景聲音可以聽到一名女性的聲音漸漸轉大。)

CAPTAIN: (recording) What was that?
機長：(錄音) 那是什麼?

CO-PILOT: (recording) We've got a light on. Could be electrical. Lose
a bus?
副駕駛：(錄音) 有一盞信號燈亮了，可能是電源問題，我們剛錯過巴士了嗎?
(這邊找不到合理的解釋，也許是飛機術語?)

CO-PILOT: (recording) Exit light is definitely on. We got a door open.
副駕駛：(錄音) 是逃生門的信號燈，有個門被開啟了。

CAPTAIN: (recording) What the hell's going on back there?
機長：(錄音) 後面到底發生什麼事了?

CO-PILOT: (recording) Losing power.
副駕駛：(錄音) 失去動力。

CAPTAIN: (recording) Got a warning light: Engine two!
機長：(錄音) 二號引擎燈亮起！

CO-PILOT: (recording) We're losing airspeed!
副駕駛：(錄音) 我們正失去空速！

CAPTAIN: (recording) We've lost number two!
機長：(錄音) 失去二號引擎！

CO-PILOT: (recording) Pull up! Pull up!
副駕駛：(錄音) 拉升！拉升！

CAPTAIN: (recording) Can't get ...
機長：(錄音) 無法…

(There's a brief burst of static, then silence.)
(短暫的干擾雜音，然後一片沉默。)

(It's very sobering for everyone. There's a moment of quiet.)
(每個人感到沉重，維持了片刻的寂靜。)

HORATIO CAINE: Okay, shut that off, please.
何瑞修．肯恩：好的請關閉它。

(Horatio thinks out loud.)
(何瑞修自言自語著。)

HORATIO CAINE: Something's missing.

(He sighs.)

CALLEIGH DUQUESNE: There's no gunshot.

(He nods in agreement.)

HORATIO CAINE: Can you play that back, Peter, from the announcement, please?
何瑞修．肯恩：彼得，可以請你倒帶從廣播那裏開始播放嗎?

PETER: Mm-hmm.
彼得：嗯哼。

(Peter plays the tape again.)
(彼得再次播放帶子。)

CAPTAIN: (recording) Temperature is 72 degrees.
機長：(錄音) 目前溫度為華氏72度。

(On the tape in the background, there's a loud thump.)
(從背景傳出了很大聲的碰撞聲。)

HORATIO CAINE: Okay, hold it right there. Can you pull that up?

PETER: I'll run a reverse algorithm. Just lose the pilots.

(Peter preps the recording then plays it.)

HORATIO CAINE: Ladies and gentlemen ... that is Sommer and Christina, isn't

(On the tape, there's sounds of a struggle. There's a clank and whooshing.)

TIM SPEEDLE: ... and the door opening.

(The tape continues. Christina screams.)

(Peter turns the tape off.)

HORATIO CAINE: So ... how long between the door opening and Christina's
scream?

(Peter highlights the sound patterns and calculates the time: 00:00:17:00.)

TIM SPEEDLE: Seventeen seconds.

MEGAN DONNER: She held on for seventeen seconds.

HORATIO CAINE: Until he pushed her out of the plane. Now all we have to do
is prove it. Speed, go to Christina's apartment and do a full profile.
