[場景：中央咖啡園，大家都在。]

Ross: So tell me something. What does the phrase 'no date pact' mean to you?

Monica: I'm sorry, okay. It's just that Chandler has somebody,
and Phoebe has somebody- I thought I'd ask Fun Bobby.
我很抱歉，好嗎。只是因為錢德有約了，菲碧也有約了...

Chandler: Fun Bobby? Your ex-boyfriend Fun Bobby?

Monica: Yeah.

Joey: You know more than one Fun Bobby?

Chandler: I happen to know a Fun Bob.

Rachel: (Brings Joey a mug of coffee) Okay, here we go...
(幫喬伊拿來一馬克杯的咖啡) 好吧，要來囉...

Rachel: (Glances at Joey and then sips his coffee) There. Now there is.

Ross: Okay, so on our no-date evening, three of you now have dates.
好吧，所以我們的不約會夜晚，你們其中三個都有約了。

Joey: Uh, four.
呃，四個。

Ross: Four.
四個。

Rachel: Five.
五個。

Ross: Five. (Buries his head in his hands)

Rachel: Sorry. Paolo's catching an earlier flight.
抱歉。保羅要搭早一點的班機。

Joey: Yeah, and I met this really hot single mom at the store.
What's an elf to do?

Ross: Okay, so I'm gonna be the only one standing there alone
when the ball drops?

and no-one'll know who's with who.

Ross: Hey, y'know, this is so not what I needed right now.

Monica: What's the matter?

Ross: Oh, it's-it's Marcel. He keeps shutting me out, y'know?
He's walking around all the time dragging his hands...
喔，因為...因為馬賽爾啦。他一直在拒絕我，知道嗎？
他一直走來走去，拖著雙手...

Chandler: That's so weird, I had such a blast with him the other night.
這太奇怪了，我前幾晚跟他玩的很開心啊。

Ross: Really.
真的嗎。

Chandler: Yeah, we played, we watched TV.. that juggling thing is amazing.
對啊，我們玩樂，我們看電視... 那戲法真驚人。

Ross: What, uh... what juggling thing?
什麼，呃... 什麼戲法啊？

Chandler: With the balled-up socks? I figured you taught him that.
就是把襪子弄成球啊？ 我以為是你教他的耶。

Ross: No.
沒啊

Chandler: Y'know, it wasn't that big a deal.
He just balled up socks... and a melon...
知道嗎，這其實沒什麼啦。他只是把襪子弄成球... 還有香瓜...

(Max runs in)
(麥克斯跑進來)

Max: Phoebe. Hi.
菲碧，嗨。

Phoebe: Oh, hi Max! Hey, do you know everybody?
喔，嗨，麥克斯！嘿，你認識大夥們嗎？

Max: No. Have you seen David?
不認識。你有看到大衛嗎？

Phoebe: No, no, he hasn't been around.
沒，沒有，他沒有來過。

Max: Well, if you see him, tell him to pack his bags.
We are going to Minsk.
呃，如果你看到他，要他趕快打包好行李，我們要去明斯克了。

Phoebe: Minsk?
明斯克？

Max: Minsk. It's in Russia.
明斯克。在俄國。

Phoebe: I know where Minsk is.
我知道明斯克在哪裡。

Max: We got the grant. Three years, all expenses paid.
我們拿到贊助了。三年，所有支出贊助。

Phoebe: So when, when do you leave?
那什麼，你們什麼時候走？

Max: January first.

[Scene: Max and David's lab, they are working. Phoebe knocks on the door]
[場景：麥克斯和大衛的實驗室，他們在工作。菲碧敲了敲門。]

Phoebe: Hello?

David: Hey!
嘿！

Phoebe: Hi.
嗨。

David: Hi! (Kisses her) What-what're you doing here?
嗨！(親吻他) 什-你來這裡做什麼？

Phoebe: Um, well, Max told me about Minsk, so
(Puts on a fake cheery voice) congratulations! This is so exciting!
嗯，好，麥克斯跟我說了明斯克的事，所以
(假裝很興奮的聲音) 恭喜你了！真令人興奮！

Max: It'd be even more exciting if we were going.
如果我們有要去才更令人興奮。

Phoebe: Oh, you're not going? (Fake disappointed voice) Oh, why?
喔，你們不去了嗎？ (假裝很失望的聲音) 喔，為什麼？

Max: Tell her, David. 'I don't wanna go to Minsk
and work with Lifson and Yamaguchi and Flench, on nonononononono.
I wanna stay here and make out with my girlfriend!!' (Storms out)
告訴他，大衛。「我不想去明斯克跟立夫森，山口和佛蘭契合作，
　　 喔不不不不不不不。我想待在這裡跟我的女朋友鬼混！」(衝出去）

David: Thank you, Max. Thank you.
謝謝你，麥克斯。謝謝你。

Phoebe: So-so you're really not going?
所..所以你真的不去了？

David: I don't know. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I just- you decide.
我不知道。我不知道我要怎麼辦。我就...你決定吧。

Phoebe: Oh don't do that.
喔，不要那樣。

David: Please.
拜託。

Phoebe: Oh no no.
喔，不不。

David: No, but I'm asking-
不，我在問你...

Phoebe: Oh, but I can't do that-
喔，但是我不能那樣...

David: No, but I can't-
不，但是我不能...

Phoebe: It's your thing, and-
那是你的事情，而且...

David: -make the decision-
...你決定吧...

Phoebe: Okay, um, stay.
好吧，嗯，留下

David: Stay.
留下。

Phoebe: Stay.
留下。

(He thinks for a moment and sweeps the stuff off the table)
(他想了一會兒，然後掃掉桌上的東西。）

Phoebe: Getting so good at that! (She hops on)
你駕輕就熟了嘛！(她跳上去)

David: It was Max's stuff. (They kiss)
