Q: How did you feel when you realized you were eliminated?

問：當妳知道自己被淘汰時，妳有什麼感覺？

Candace: I was shocked and sad at the same time. The fact that it took me so
long to get on the show, and knowing the potential I had, I know that I
shouldn’t have got kicked off so early on in the competition. It was pretty
much a shock to me.

Candace：我當下感到非常震驚和悲傷，我花了那麼久的時間才進入這次這個節目，並瞭解
到我自己的潛力；我知道我在這場比賽中是不該那麼早被踢出去的。所以這對我來說相當
震撼。

Q: Do you think you deserved to go home?

問：妳覺得自己應該被淘汰嗎？

Candace: Based on the pictures alone, definitely not. Based on the fact that,
my third week, my photo was even worse than what the photo [was this week], so
I felt like I progressed. Maybe not that much, but I figured I should have
remained in the competition.

Candace：如果只憑照片，當然不。事實上，我第三週的照片比這週還要糟，所以我覺得自
己進步了；或許我的進步還不夠吧，但我想我還是應該被留下來參賽。

Q: Should someone else have gone home instead of you?

問：有其他人比妳更應該被淘汰嗎？

Candace: I can’t really pinpoint someone, but the fact that Kyle actually
packed her bag and wanted to go home, it would have been fair for her to step
aside knowing that I really want this so, so much.

Candace：我沒辦法真的指出一個人，但事實是Kyle已經打包好行李，並希望能夠回家了；
如果真的公平來看的話，知道我那麼想要參與這場比賽，她應該要讓位給我的。

Q: What was it like living in the house? Any bickering?

問：在宿舍的生活如何？有任何爭吵嗎？

Candace: Yeah, like with the fight with Seymone and the UK girls, which was
absolutely funny to me. It was about 2:30 in the morning and the USA girls,
some of us, me, Eboni and Seymone were actually sleeping, and the UK girls were
having a good time and just came in our room. They started bombing Seymone with
papers and running. Seymone hates it when people wake her up out of her sleep
so she was basically screaming like, “Stop waking me up! I’m trying to get
sleep!” It was like, Seymone vs. the UK team. I just took it funny, like the
UK girls were just having fun.

Candace：是有些爭吵，像是Seymone跟英國妞們的紛爭，這件事對我來說實在很可笑。那
天大概是半夜2：30，有些美國妹，像是我、Eboni和Seymone已經上床睡覺了，但英國妞玩
得正high，於是她們跑來我們的房間，用紙團轟炸Seymone後就落跑了，Seymone討厭別人
打斷她睡覺，於是她就拉開嗓子開始吼叫：「不要吵我，我要睡覺！」，這就像是Seymone
對決英國妞，我在旁邊看了只覺得好笑，就像英國妞一樣覺得很逗趣。

Q: Who are you rooting for?

問：妳支持哪個參賽者呢？

Candace: AzMarie for the simple fact that she’s a strong person, her facial
features... She can pull off the bald head and she’s so comfortable in her own
skin, which I admire. Her pictures every week, it’s like, wow. She won best
photo twice in a row.

Candace：Az，因為她真的很強，她的臉蛋…她可以駕馭光頭，而且對自己的膚色感到非常
自在，這些都是我相當欽佩她的部分。她每週的照片，看了妳都會讚嘆：「哇！」，她目
前已經贏得兩次的當週最佳照片了。

Q: Do you think Kelly Cutrone is a good judge?

問：妳認為Kelly Cutrone是個稱職的評審嗎？

Candace: She doesn’t care what you think. She tells you how it is, what she
feels like. I mean, phew! Whoever she’s criticizing, talk to that person. If
you can handle criticism then you can handle Kelly Cutrone. If not, then stay
out of her way. She can literally break someone. For me, being a strong person,
I’m not going to say I don’t care what her opinion is, but it doesn’t phase
me. She’s not going to sugarcoat anything.

Candace：她並不在意妳怎麼想，她會直接告訴妳妳表現得如何、她有什麼感覺，我是說：
「唷！（真敢講）」，任何她想要批評的對象，她都直言不諱。如果妳能受得了批判，那
麼妳就受得了Kelly Cutrone；如果妳受不了的話，那妳最好離她遠一點；她絕對能擊垮一
個人。對我這樣一個堅強的人而言，我不會說自己不在乎她的意見，但那不會同化我。她
並不會去矯飾任何事情。

Q: Who did you get along with the most?

問：妳跟哪個參賽者最合得來？

Candace: Kyle, Seymone, even though [the situation with Kyle] happened, at the
end of the day, me and Kyle always had nothing but fun. I get along with the
UK girls.

Candace：Kyle、Seymone，即使跟Kyle有一些齟齬，但當天結束後，我和Kyle還是能夠玩
在一起，我跟英國妞們相處的也不錯。

Q: Was there anyone you didn’t get along with?

問：有任何參賽者和妳處不來嗎？

Candace: Nope, not one person. I would just say, not that I didn’t get along
with them, but me and Sophie [Sumner], we never got the chance to know each
other in depth. Sophie is just like in her own little world, literally in her
own little mind. I never established a connection.

Candace：不太有耶。應該這樣說，我沒有跟誰處不來，但我跟Sophie從來沒有機會更深入
地去瞭解對方；Sophie就像是住在自己的小宇宙裡，完全沈浸在自己的小小心靈中。所以
我跟她沒建立起什麼聯結。

Q: Are you gonna try out again?

問：妳還會繼續嘗試嗎？

Candace: No, no. I’m not gonna try out again. Yeah I’ve been trying out for
four years and I finally made it. I met so many people in the industry, it was
the time of my life, but I’ve just got to move on.

Candace：不會，我不會繼續嘗試了。我的確花了四年的時間努力嘗試，最後我終於成功進
入這個賽季；在這裡我認識了許多業界的人士，這是我人生中的一段時光，但我必須要繼
續前進了。
